Poor Porthos.

Actually, I was listening to the commentary and Abrams said you'll know when the last Star Trek thing he works on is because Porthos will materialize out of thin air.

So he's fine. He's just on a transporter vacation right now.

He'll be back!

It doesn't bother me too much, but I was just floating the idea that signing off every post by saying "if I bother you, fuck off!" is inevitably going to tarnish your image.

Besides, I already blocked avatars because of some guy named Claude; the sig lines are the last graphical representation of uniqueness.

I think you're reading too much into it. I always looked at it as more like one of those not-as-funny-as-you-think-it-is bumper stickers like "Keep honking, I'm reloading".

Someone had avatars blocked because of my Scanner's gif, part of the reason I changed it actually.  Although I did chuckle and think "wuss" as I changed it  ;)

i have avs and sigs turned off because of someone's animated baseball gif that safari throws a wobbly over.

Does he own any dogs? It'd have to be Porthos III or IV at the very least. :)

Porthos was actually an enchanted changeling that owed a life-debt to the Archer family.

But then, when I do comment on something I think is good I'm told that my taste is shit, so what's the point?

Increased post count?
No, you're right.

I didn't rave about how wonderful "Garth Merenghi's Darkplace" was when I found it.

I didn't turn someone else on here to "Being Human" when I talked it up.

All I do here is bitch about Trek and Dubya....you can go back though just the threads I've started and even though they're titled and the body of the post is about something else entirely you all know that it's really about those two things because Jewish Carpenter says that's all I talk about, right?

Fuck all of you.
HEYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Poor Porthos.

Ummmm ... the action of Enterprise would have happened about a hundred years before even this reboot prequel.  While it's just plausible that this is the same Archer (if Bones could make it to 137 as a super-annuated admiral, I suppose Archer could make it to his 140s), it'd have to be a different beagle.

Unless Archer had Porthos stuffed like Roy Rogers did Trigger.  Ooh, now I'm sorry I thought of that.

Anyway, I'd hate to think of anything happening to Porthos.  He was my favorite character in that series.  ;D

Pedantic Trekkie nit-picker, now signing off.

Boo!  Bring back Enterprise.

You're so cute. I wish I had a camera right now.

Doctor Who?

I really liked the last two seasons of Enterprise and was upset when it got canned but i can understand why it did.  The first two season were just so awful and after Voyager there was no way they were going to get the viewers back.  It's sad but if no one is watching a show no matter how good it is it will get canned.  Hey at least we got four seasons most shows that had as bad a first season as Enterprise would have gotten canceled with in six weeks.  At least it got a much better run then Firefly.
