I still haven't seen New Moon yet, and loath as I am to defend Stephanie Meyer it sounds like her werewolves are borrowed more from southwestern Native American mythology than European folklore, which is kind of cool in my book.

Well, it's very loosely based on the Skinwalkers of legend. If anything, the Twilight Werewolves can only transform when they get angry, hence why they are more like the Incredible Hulk.
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

From what mythology comes the werewolf jhorts uniform?

Is it just me, or does kristen stewart look EXTREMELY baked in this picture, and almost every other picture she takes? Well, thank goodness those bloodshot eyes can be cured with photoshop.

But it's a personality trait in The Sims 3.  ;D

I just want to know how Jacob's clothes regenerated after he exploded into his werewolf form. Bruce Banner buying big guy pants to accommodate for his Hulk transformations makes more sense.

Well in the books (SHUT IT!) he carries the closthes with him. They are tied by string to his hind leg (another reason why he only wears jean shorts). So as long as he didn't become a wurwulf because he got angry he would take off his clothes and then change into the beast

I wonder if the books' lack of ambition was designed purely for the sake of making them into cheap-ass movies.

Does he tie the knot loosely assuming an increase in thickness of the limb due to is direwolf transformation?

If I remember correctly.... the book never tells us... that would have constituted a coherent thought on the part of the "author" and we can't have that now can we?

Because presumably there is some change in the diameter of the limb from one form to the other, unless he uses elastic bands.

Kind of takes away alittle of the threatening level if it looks like the giant wolf has been tagged and let back in the wild.

Why not just have him carry a Wolf-Man-Bag?
