There also needs to be a scene with a ghost urinating on someone. Or one of the Ghostbusters taking a leak on a ghost. Or both. Possibly at the same time.

Don't cross the streams!

Aw, I'm sad that the original actors are in it again. I want them to do it as a reboot, only darker, grittier, and with lots of lens flare and shaky-cam.  And also, let's get rid of anything that makes the characters like their original versions except the names, which can be used as a cash-in to get "butts in seats" opening weekend.

Also instead of "busting ghosts" (that's -so- 80s) let's have them arresting criminals.  In super-sigma-8 suits. That would be BADASS.

Yeah, it should be urine (or semen) instead of "slime" this time.  And then there can be a scene of someone drinking/eating/wearing the "slime" unawares!

In all seriousness, I hope this is good. The writers are from the Office, right? (yay, hopefully).

Oh, since it's multigenerational, ONE of the characters simply MUST say, "I'm getting too old for this shit."  Probably Winston.

well since the film is about training a younger generation of Ghostbusters, all that could still happen

No, ladies and gentlemen. Pak never turns it off. And yes. He is like this IRL.  :D

That's what me and my brother would say when we were little kids urinating at the same time into the same toilet (what can I say?  Kids are not basful about that sorta thing.)

Randy Edelman did the music for the second film.  He could probably do it for the third film.  Though it would be nice if whoever did it would use Elmer Bernstein's original themes.  I wonder who they're going to get to cover the song Ghostbusters.  I wonder if Huey Lewis is available...?

So no one is leery of the whole Alyssa Milano / Eliza Dushku casting?

For those of you who are excited about Ghostbuster 3...

You saw Ghostbusters 2, right?  And you want another one?

Sure.  I loved Ghostbusters 2.

Being a sequel doesn't automatically make it suck.

Peter MacNicol?  Rudy Guliani in a co-starring role?  The Walking Statue of Liberty?!  The Bobby Brown Ghostbuster Theme?!?!  (as you read those make each more hysterical and crazed sounding)

No, the more I think about how bad that movie was, especially compared to how good the first movie was I refuse to accept that GB2 was a good movie.  It sucked, hard.  Like MST3K-worth y hard. It wasn't funny and was an obvious cash-grab by the studio to get more money out of the name.

Haha will this have a sassy girl-next-door-ish character that "rolls with the big guys" and doesn't button her top few jumpsuit clasps?

I'm surprised you didn't mention the baby or the "mood slime".  Look, while I'll admit Ghostbusters II isn't quite as good as the first movie, it's nowhere near the travesty that you seem to imagine it being.
