We will post all Planet of Dinosaurs refund/cancellation related info here.

We'll also keep you posted regarding fixed VOD and Download to Burn files.

EDIT: At 11:20 we should be all set.  VOD files and $10 certs have been added to the accounts of everyone who bought a ticket to the live show.

EDIT: At 9:45 on Tuesday the Download to Burn option is back.  You can buy it, and if you already bought it, you can redownload the files in your My Files section.

EDIT: at 6:40 on Tuesday.  $10 gift certificates have been added to everyone who bought a ticket to the live show (that didn't opt out and ask for a refund.)

Also, we have fixed the Planet of Dinosaurs VOD files.  If you already bought them, you can redownload them from your My Files area.  If you didn't buy them yet, you can get VOD or MP3 version now at: http://www.rifftrax.com/rifftrax/planet-dinosaurs

They have NOT been added yet as part of the compensation package.

The download to burn DVD ISO version will be available to purchase/redownload tomorrow.

EDIT:  at 4:15 PM on Monday, we sent out this email to everyone who had purchased a ticket for th live show.  We are still currently rendering VOD files for Planet of Dinosaurs.  They will be done before the Download to Burn option is completed.

Everyone at RiffTrax.com would like to apologize for the technical issues that derailed our live event on Friday night.  The planned live versions of "Shake Hands With Danger" and "Planet of Dinosaurs" unfortunately were not able to be recorded.  We hope to try live events again in the future, but will have to reevaluate the process before we go forth with another one.

We'd like to offer everyone who purchased the ticket to the live show a bundle to make up for the canceled live program.  This will consist of our Planet of Dinosaurs video download, as well as a ten dollar RiffTrax gift certificate, a total value of $19.95.

If you'd like to recieve this compensation package, we will be issuing them automatically within 24 hours.  The files and gift certificates will be automatically added to your account, we will send an email notification when this has taken place. You do not have to reply to this email. If you have already purchased Planet of Dinosaurs, we will issue you a gift certificate for 19.95.

If you'd prefer to recieve a full refund of your ticket price, please reply to this email indicating so.  Please tell us the name and email address that the purchase was made from, and we will be able to expedite you a full refund.

Once again, we'd like to apologize, and thank you for your patience and dedication as a RiffTrax fan.

If you have any related comments or questions, you can post them here.  You can also email support@rifftrax.com

Please don't post here to say "I don't want this I prefer a refund."  Submit that via email.

I'm wondering this, too. I bought the deluxe package. I did get to see the live version, but the video kept freezing up.

I'm very happy with this offer.  My only downside is not having Shake Hands With Danger as a VOD.  I buy every short that is released so I don't want to buy the DVD just to get this one short.  Please release the studio version of this as a download.  I got to enjoy most of it during the live show and it is hilarious.  I will gladly pay to have this one.  Also, I'm still curious what the digital souvenir was going to be.

I will ask about Shake Hands with Danger.  The Live Version did not get recorded, unfortunately, at that point in time we were doing all we could to keep the broadcast going.

Thanks guys! I look forward to the next attempt at a live show.
Thanks a million. Push Start to replay.

Anything released via VOD will suffice for me.. Thanks Again! ;D

This is a very nice way to make up for everything, major respect for everyone there for staying classy on the matter.

I am curious about one thing, though. Does this compensation offer apply equally to people who bought either the standard or premium package? It seems to me that, after that, the people who bought the standard package are REALLY making out on the bundle and the people who bought the premium package, a bit less so. I'm in the latter category. I mean, really, I have no room to complain because I'm still netting $5 I didn't have before, I'm just curious. Not trying to look a gift-bot in the mouth or anything.

Will the Planet of Dinosaurs VOD be the burnable ISO?

I bought the premium for the bonuses (mp3 plus digital souvenir).  I ended up able to see none of it live.  I'm thrilled with the deal of 19.95 back from the 14.95 I paid, but I'm still wondering about those bonuses.  What of them?

Aw, you guys are the best!

Again, I was never upset about the wheels falling off, that's a risk you take when you are trying to be innovative and do new things constantly. (But that doesn't stop me from happily accepting a free VOD!)
FINE

I was wonder that as well.

Gotta say, RT customer service/support is tremendous.  Any time I've had issues someone's been there to help get this taken care of.
