I'd be really curious to see Abbas Kiarostami's Transformers movie...  Or perhaps Satyajit Rays.   :)

Actually Erich von Stroheim would have probably given us the definitive Cybertron epic I feel.

mrbasehart

It would've been Stroheim's bad luck to end up having to work for someone like Harvey "Scissorhands" Weinstein...

QuoteSpielburg already HAS money.
So he should have gone with Uwe Boll then?

Okay, we already have several threads dedicated to bashing the live-action Transformers movie.  A lot of people hated it, but a lot of people, including me, liked it, so get over yourselves.  Even if Spielberg had directed Transformers himself, I'm pretty sure most of you would have still found fault with it.  But that's neither here nor there.  Let's get back to making fun of people for saying ignorant things about movies.  And if anyone quotes this post to use as an example, I will punch you in the neck.

Yeah, get over yourselves, you high and mighty not-liking-Shia-Lebouf-movies... people!

Sorry I veered the topic so off coarse. I'm also sorry I paid to see Transformers in the theater.

So how about another weird movie related thing: that McG thinks Will Smith would ever want to work with him.

Will Smith has worked with Michael Bay...twice!   :)

Besides McG really hasn't done anything in a while - I'll judge his work on Terminator seperately from the Charlie's Angels films (besides, I quite liked the first one) and I haven't seen We Are Marshall, though that has good reviews.

I don't know about you, but Michael Bay gave me EVERYTHING I've ever wanted in a transformers movie. A girl who weighs probably 50 lbs and hasn't learned how to act yet, Shia Labeef, More shia Labeef, Masturbating jokes, Pee Jokes, Robots that all look nearly identical in color and appearance, Optimus with flames, cameras that shake so violently you can't tell whose fighting who, and best of all.... transformers that change into something completely different than they did in the original series! Thank goodness Michael Bay caters to the fans. I for one will not complain, but praise him for all that he has given us!

Yeah Transformers is a movie I liked at first, but with each repeat viewing it became worse and worse.
Killing me won't bring back your Goddamned honey!

You want a Transformers movie that's more like the cartoon?  You ever stop to consider what that would actually be like?  This guy has:  http://www.shortpacked.com/d/20050207.html

I can't believe you just defended michael bay. I will pray for you.

Oh... before I forget... Here's a funny tibit for those interested. Apparently Terminator and Transformers director's are pointing fingers at each other.
