Next Bump In the Night will come out on DVD! Sheesh.
Ahem...

Not liking this tendency of the best stuff only for sale on the internet.  But at least it's out there.

Yeah i am really upset that i can't get any seasons of EFC on DVD.

Good news about Xmen.

Also where is The new Red Green Show.

I watched that all the time when I was a kid,I even ruined the video tapes I had it taped on but no sign of the show on DvD.

Don't they have some episodes on the Stuffed and Mounted collections?

This is a VERY old post or you're just not lookin', Doc.  I wish TV shows I want on DVD were so "unavailable".   ;)

I wonder how many things that people have posted about have been released since then. I noticed at least 2 from the first page, Bump in the Night and Courage the Cowardly Dog.

The posts are dated at the top of every one.

Yea, it's just a VERY old post.  My bad for not paying attention.

I believe some people have been waiting for this....

QuoteCLEOPATRA JONES AND THE CASINO OF GOLD (1975) This magnificent sequel to CLEOPATRA JONES (1973) combines the camp of kung-fu with the best of blaxploitation. Fashionable super spy, Cleo Jones (Tamara Dobson) travels to Hong Kong  determined to shut down a heroin pipeline. But the sword-sticking succubus known as The Dragon Lady (Stella Stevens) is determined to kick Cleopatra all the way back to America.

It's available through the Warner Archives

The Tick VS Season Three has never been released as far as I can tell. Damn it. That one had the best episodes on it. Speak shows up in that season.

We are STILL waiting for The Muppet Show Season 4! And no word on Muppets Tonight at all!

What 'Ticks' me off is that they cut an episode from each of the first two seasons for the domestic release, but apparently not for the sets released in Britain.  AND the Brits have had Season 3 available to them for a year or two now but we still don't have it, even though it was U.S. viewers who got the series to survive three seasons (so we should get it all, and get it first  ;) )!

The Tick Season 3 and Upright Citizens Brigade Season 3.  Both in the same sort of limbo.

Look, if you don't want to release the show at all, fine, that's understandable.  But don't tease consumers by releasing only SOME of a show.  Either plan on releasing all of it or none of it.  Stand behind your decision, don't weasel out at the last second.

Speaking of which, there are a whole bunch of old, bad cartoons from the '80s that a company like Shout! should get their hands on, and a lot of them wouldn't require that much effort, seeing as how most of them lasted less than half a season.  I mean, come on, I know "Turbo Teen" wouldn't sell millions of units, but the thing only had about 15 episodes total.

And if this was mentioned, sorry, it didn't pop up in a search...where the hell is a non-bootleg edition of "M.A.S.K.?" And I'm talking Region 1, people, in case somebody pulls any Region 2 stuff on me.

Least they dropped the price on the first three...they were $20 a piece in Best Buy last time I was there.  And it wasn't a sale.

Just thought of two others, reading the Blockbuster thread...

I know this is getting more TV than movie related, but as an American, I would very much like to have two British comedies available on DVD, that have yet for some strange reason to reach out native shores.

Where in the world are (Region 1) releases of "Green Wing," both seasons, and "That Mitchell and Webb Look," all seasons?  We got frigging 'Primeval,' and that jumped the shark when they decided half of the original cast either had to die or be warped by time and space (even though it's still watchable in a very campy sort of way), and we can't get these?

Granted, Green Wing wasn't perfect, but between these shows are two of my favorites TV lines in recent memory, respectively:
Dr. Alan Statham: "And then you crap your pants!  And then they smell your FEAR!"
and
David Mitchell: "Yeah, yeah...now we know."

And, really, Sir Digby Chicken Caesar is one of the greatest characters in English literature.  "It's going to be an Easter Weekend to remember!"

Well, I'm not sure how many people here were clamoring for these but...

October 12: The Smokey and the Bandit Outlaw collection
Includes all 7 (yes, 7) films:

Original movies:
Smokey and the Bandit (1977)
Smokey and the Bandit II (1980)
Smokey and the Bandit 3 (1983)

Bandit (Brian Bloom) TV Movies:
Bandit Goes Country (1994)
Bandit's Silver Angel (1994)
Beauty and the Bandit (1994)
Bandit Bandit (1994)

I was enjoyable in its time. 2 was bad, 3 almost unwatchable. I wasn't even aware of the TV movies. Retail is $26.99, so expect to see it around $20 online.
