Well, since Fallout 3's been out for a while now (where I got it from) and someone else came on board with a similar pic, I thought it was time for a change.  After Mafia's over, I'll be back to good old Dick though.

I thought the premise was a waste, the direction appalling, and cast a bunch of cardboard cut-outs.

Not to mention the Predator's actions were rather against character at the end (I'm simply not buying the 'lesser-of-two-evils, recognized-her-as-a-worthy-person' bit, he should have gutted her at the first chance).

And I actually think that AVP:R is better than AVP, simply because it has better fights between the two (I'd be lying if I said I didn't think the sewer scene with the lasers was really cool). But again, both were fairly awful movies.

I thought the kid getting face-hugged was the only highlight of the second one, I'd rank it below Aliens and Resurrection but above Predator 2.

I can't agree on it being better (the minigun alone puts the first over the second), but I do agree that Predator 2 is an awesome movie (Bill Paxten just can't seem to get a break when it comes to dealing with other-worldly baddies )

It was one of the bigger changes, yeah. The facehugger (which looked different than the facehuggers of past movies) got one of the livestock cows the inmates had (in this case, it was a cow used to pull the EEV out of the water). The dog isn't even in the Assembly Cut, as best I can remember (he's still referred to, though, by Murphy in the vent shaft).

The actual Xenomorph still looked the same (they did update some of the atrocious CGI, though).

How does that make the movie better? It's the same alien. Didn't they base it on a dog? Oxen don't do anything! They just stand around! What kinda dumb alien would that be!
