Those are up there, but I actually went to see Highlander II on opening night.  Back then, there wasn't much in the way of pre-release reviews.  We had no idea how bad it would truly be.
:speechless:

He directed The Mask, didn't he? Anyway, the reason is that he's not all up in your face with MOVIES all the time, like your Joel Schumachers and your Brett Ratners and your Michael Bayses.

bratpop

Is there a difference? I'm pretty sure Chuck Russell Mulcahy is one person.

That reminds me, why doesn't anyone ever say Russell Mulcahy is a really bad director? I mean when was the last time he directed a half-way decent movie or even music video?

I say it all of the time.

The response I get is either "Hell yeah!," or "Who?"

I'm looking at his CV on the imdb:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0611683/

Highlander's good, Razorback's okay, and I quite liked Blue Ice because it's sort of a Harry Palmer movie, but yes...the rest of those movies blow.  And The Hunger TV series...   :speechless:

He doesn't do enough to warrant anybody thinking about him.

Did you actually even look at his CV? The man's got 6 films out from 2008 to 2010.

I couldn't figure out what CV stood for.

The only movies I've heard of on that list after Highlander 2 are The Scorpion King 2 and Resident Evil: Extinction, which I didn't even know he directed. Which is good for him, because they were bad.

I love alot of crappy movies.  It's hard to explain some of them, but I'll try.

1. Con Air- That movie is just so over the top, it's fun. Great cast headed by an awesome John Malcovich as Cyrus the Virus.

2. Constantine- I think I just like the mood of the movie and Keanu's character. Never read the graphic novel, so maybe that's why.

3. Baby's Day Out- Some really funny slapstick here, and that baby is just too cute.

4. Honey, I Blew Up the Kid- Again, the kid is just too cute, and I just can't help but smile while watching that movie.

5. Rocketman- A really underrated comedy, and one of the best Disney comedies ever.

6. Anaconda- Just a fun movie in the vein of Tremors. Jon Voight is alot of fun to watch in this one.

7. The Blob(1988 remake)- Who knows? Maybe just cause Kevin Dillon is the hero. The effects are actually pretty good.

8. Butterfly Effect- Thought this was actually really good. The Director's Cut has one of the most shocking endings I've ever seen.

9. The Faculty- It's just one of those movies that I could watch everyday and not get tired of it. Thought it was really refreshing.

10. Mortal Kombat- The best video game movie ever.

11. Blankman- Can't explain it. I just like it.

12. Volcano- Tommy Lee Jones + his character from the Fugitive + a volcano = greatness

13. Sky High- Excellent kids movie, and a really underrated superhero movie in general.

14. The Phantom- For some reason, I always watch it when it comes on. Cheesy goodness at its best.

15. The Animal- IMO, Rob Schneider's best movie. Silly stuff, but fun.

16. The Ernest Movies- Jim Varney was a genius.

17. Undercover Brother- The black Austin Powers. And I loved it.
I hates legends.

Shocking...ly stupid? This movie hates humanity. It's like Manos with a vengeance.

I loved Butterfly Effect myself but I also admit to enjoying several Uwe Boll movies so take my opinion as you will. Although while I consider Butterfly Effect to be a great movie, I simply enjoy some of Boll's work by knowing what to expect.

Think about how much better the first Highlander could have been, though.

In America, we call these Resumes.  Unless you're in academia, then it's still a CV.

The Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Federal Rules of Evidence use CV (as opposed to resume) for expert witnesses.  I know I'm in trouble when I ask an engineer or inspector for a CV, and I have to explain what one is.  It means that they haven't testified much, if at all.  (That's actually the main reason you want to see it, other than preliminary disclosures.)

See, I think it's perfectly fine the way it is.  Perhaps Connery shouldn't have played a Spaniard and Christopher Lambert hardly convinces (though he's the best he'll ever be in this movie), but I think that some of the badness actually makes the film more enjoyable.  :)
