I think the mods really need to make a list of what we have to like and the reason we have to give for liking it in order to post here.

Maybe they'll do that once you provide a list of things you'll overreact about when people explain why they disagree with you.

You know what I have tried to be reasonable but you people make that imposable.  You make things personal. You do not debate,you attack and why?  Because I don't like the Lord of the Rings books for the reasons you think I should and I think the oscars have become a joke in the past few years?  You are all the most petty small minded,rudest people I have ever met.

Your mistake there Courtney was not quoting him, is this the third time this week Who's said something very silly and then deleted his posts AFTER having them (fairly) reasonably responded to? 

Look every time I say something you people don't agree with you come after me.  You make it personal and come after me in every single thread and you will not let up even if I say I am sorry for not likely what you like for the reason you say i should have to like it so I delete the posts so that you people will stop riding me all the time.

Again with the overreaction!  Do you really see what Stansimpson said is an 'attack'?  You get what you give my friend, you're one of about 4 people on here who almost never have anything good to say about anything or anyone and people react accordingly.

Also, in this case he (and Courtney's) responses had nothing to do with your opinion and everything to do with your being factually incorrect.

Right I didn't google the grosses,I went from memory and I was wrong.  But you know what you just made a mistake gy not checking your facts,most of what I say is positive and if you had checked your fact you would know that.  You just made the same mistake you came after me for making,what does that make you?

FIrstly it makes me someone who didn't 'come after you' and secondly the posts of yours I notice are usually negative, although I admit I usually don't read your posts (you're not alone in that btw)

Indeed!  I love a fair-handed, honest review (most particularly your conclusion about less money but more devotion).  In that same vein, I've wondered, could you really see something like "No Country For Old Men" grossing a billion dollars?  I can't imagine that world, and I'm not sure I'd be entirely comfortable in a world like that (seriously, a billion?).  And I liked "small-but-hyperactive backlash".

Given all the talk about Avatar taking parts of it's plot from other movies and books I had to add this.  I was just watching an episode of Ducktales and in it to earn the trust of some primitive natives LaunchPad has to ride a giant bird that they keep and he does it by taking off from a cliff and he only get one chance.  Do you think Camaran saw this episode?!

Good to hear that this movie lost the Best Picture Oscar.

Hey, I did enjoy the movie, but it shouldn't have even been up for Oscar contention in anything other than Special Effects.

Yeah i enjoyed it as a fun sci-fi movie that did a lot of new things with SFX but I didn't think there was anything about it that made it one of the best films of the year.
