Jurassic World (2015)

Compare to Pratt, who everyone likes because it's Pratt

I do agree with this. Although his interactions with Bryce Dallas Howard come close to making him irritating. There is just NO reason these two would have dated even once (unless it was a drunk night at a bar). So it's just shoehorned into the movie.

He just shows up and is right every time about every thing

Ironically, the one thing he is wrong about is hesitating so much letting the raptors out to hunt the Indomenous. Them actually following with Pratt on the motorcycle and hunting it down works flawlessly. It's only when they start talking with the damn thing do things go south.

Compare to the deadbeat kids in the new movie, who would've been better served getting crushed and/or eaten at the first possible opportunity.

I actually thought the kids in this weren't that bad. It's just that with them seperated from the adults for most of the movie, they are completely irrelevant to the plot. They should have been cut out entirely.
