I know about 2 people who thought it was a bad movie... And about 14 that loved it.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

Anyone know when the Lego tie-in game comes out?

This one?

Same day that you asked, June 12th.

I just got back from the movie and was thoroughly OK with it. It was so middle of the road I will probably forget about it in a couple of days.

Guy at work who was PSYCHED for it said it felt like an Asylum movie?

Real hard to get a bead on this one without seeing it yourself, it seems. A lot of people I respect say they love it. I've heard it called a worthy sequel. A lot of other people I respect say, "Bleh." It at least doesn't have the more universal derision the other two sequels did. I'll be finding out for myself this weekend, if all goes well.

It's remarkably divisive. I think it's a matter of the stuff that works overcoming the stuff that doesn't.

It's that way for many, not that way for some.

I totally recommend a Jurassic Park fan see it, I don't regret seeing it. I did find it very middle of the road, it's no Jurassic Park but it's fun.

ScottotD

I read something that said half the reviews are people liking it and the other half are annoyed those people liked it which makes me want to see it and like it because those people are the worst

I don't like being on this side! It doesn't happen often, and it makes me feel like I'm losing my mind, or that I watched a different movie than everyone else.

Though if you think I'm bad now, just wait until the end of the year and I start throwing fits every time I see this pop up on someone's Best Of list.

Not liking something or not liking it as much as others is completely different to claiming it's 'overrated' or otherwise being a dick about other people liking it.

Darth Geek

I watched it yesterday with friends and thought it was a lot of fun. It probably won't make my best-of list by the end of the year, but it was good.

I quite agree! And actually try to avoid the latter as much as possible. I even had to do some backtracking on Twitter because I almost made someone else not want to see the movie to begin with.

I genuinely want everyone to get enjoyment when they go to the movies, even at ones that I personally find to be objectively bad movies (but not offensively bad, at least).
