Worst parts: ...Starlord graduating to an ipod...

It was a Zune! Which is somehow just as charmingly archaic as a Walkman to me. I wonder if Microsoft had to pony up for that bit of product placement?
Yeah I think that's what they were going for.  Replacing one archaic media player with another.

Loved the Last Starfigher reference in the final battle.

One of my bigger laughs, getting a 'crappy' version of an mp3 player. Given Zune is dead I doubt they paid anything for it. But as I saw elsewhere 'Cosplayers get yours quick!'

I had that exact Zune for years!  I refused to buy anything apple, and everyone would laugh at me.  Well who's laughing now!?!

Prediction: Microsoft will release a limited edition run of GotG Zunes to coincide with Guardians 3.

Finally saw it tonight, good stuff! Here's hoping that zune has some metal on it, or at least some harder rock. Or at least something with some edge, like Hall & Oates: Maneater, Out of Touch, etc.   ;D

Howard the Duck should get his own movie! Again, this time it'll work. The people want it!

I maintain that you don't cast Seth Green for just a cameo. I feel like they have to have plans...

A good Howard the Duck movie would be cool, but if they aren't even making a Black Widow movie, I doubt they'd add this to their already busy schedule.

Funky time!

Watched it again today, and still enjoy it. But I'm also still confused by two of the ending credits:

The mid credit scene with the Sovereign creating Adam Warlock's cocoon. The director himself has actually said that the organic cocoon we see in the Collector's ship was Adam Warlock's. Plus I didn't find the Sovereign threatening, so having them create Adam Warlock isn't very impressive.

The final scene with Stan Lee. So is he a Watcher or not? It seems like it counteracts what they wanted to establish with his first scene.

So they finally did the fan theory that Stan Lee is a Watcher? The final end credits scene seemed to put that in question. Also, wasn't it the Fantastic Four (2005) that he was referencing when he said he was a mailman? That's a Fox movie, not Marvel Studios.

I thought they were maybe suggesting he was a Skrull?
FINE

I think Stan Lee said he was a "Federal express man", referencing his cameo from Captain America: Civil War.
