FINE

ihavemyreasons

Tempted to skip directly to this experiment because I've seen this movie several times, but I'm going to take them in order and won't get to this one until Sunday or so.

MartyS (Gromit)

This one really fell flat for me, they should have skewered this movie a lot more.

Shouldn't this have been the movie to bring in Mark Hamill?
The Jerry Seinfeld bit wasn't very funny.

I liked the Swiss Army Planet.

I had high expectations knowing in advance how goofy the movie is, but yeah, not my favorite episode. And the Seinfeld cameo seemed tacked on for no good reason and  it was not funny.

SJP

I know Joel had a brief appearance (and had a help in writing) Jerry Seinfeld's first stand-up special on HBO in the 80s, so maybe it was a "Remember when we worked together?" kind of moment.
One Man Band Riffs.  18 riffs, over 600 served, since 2009.

Twistedmojo

I never realized the universe had so many Christmas lights.

Variety of Cells

I think y'all are too hard on this here space film riffin. I had a hot dog of a time, bleep bloop!

To translate for all the non robots, I thought this one was great!  Seinfeld was as funny as he could be now days (which isn't super funny, but oh well).  The riffs were great. There was a pumaman reference. And there was a ton of cleavage. What more could you possibly want?

MartyS (Gromit)

I'll have to come back to it at some point and see if I like it more.

Could be I felt meh about it because I watched 2 in a row, really need to stick to one a day or every other day to avoid burnout.

Pak-Man

This might actually be my favorite so far. The movie was such a great choice and the riffs were awesome. Plus my name's in the credits, so bonus!

I liked this episode a lot. Especially the Space-Mutiny-like starship naming in the final 25 minutes.

Darth Geek

I love sci-fi, I even like bad sci-fi, but I only got 20 minutes in to this stinkburger before I decided to call it a night. I've seen reviews of this with some clips, but to actually watch it is excruciating. Just nonsense going a mile a minute.

I'll watch the rest of it tomorrow, but I hope the riffing gets good enough to make this watchable.

I did like the "He's a loofa/human hybrid" line.

Wait until the end. You'll get a riffing moment similar to Space Mutiny's "Blast Hardcheese; Big McLargeHuge; Slab BeefChunk" riffs.

This movie is so silly and watchable that I can't even make sense of Darth's post.

I'm with Grug on this one. I would watch this thing unriffed and probably laugh about as much. I love it when a bad sci-fi movie REALLY leans into that mold.
