Yeah I catch up in batches (just used the 20% off to catch up last weekend), and I think I missed Wizards.

The unavailable ones I had purchased are still in my library to stream or download. I just like to have a backup for my own peace of mind.

I'm not sure I understand why everyone is so nervous about losing their downloaded files. While these particular riffs may be no longer available to PURCHASE for those who didn't previously, they're still showing up in my library and I can still download the files any time I want. And that includes Wizards. Did others actually lose the purchases from their online library?

I think you misunderstand the thing people are nervous about.

Add to the list.

There once was a VOD version of Birdemic (not live).  No longer available.

That's odd. They can still distribute the live show, but can't do the VoD?

I own everything on the discontinued list so far as I almost always purchase within 48 hours of new releases. I'm just not patient enough to wait for a sale...I do this even though sometimes I don't find time to watch for a few weeks.

The Final Sacrifice, one of the first MST3K episodes available for sale on Rifftrax, is now unavailable

Pak-Man

Wonder if that episode is the reason Volume XVII went out of print.

MrTorso

As of today it is still up at VHX for purchase in case some one needs it.

Speculation over in the "Likelihood for Shout Factory Release List" thread on forrestcrow.proboards.com is that it is, and that the rights owner (of Final Sacrifice) was asking for too much money for a renewal.

Shame about Megaforce. I was actually going to suggest it to someone today, but when I checked first to see it was still available, surprise, it wasn't.

It's interesting that the new MST3K got the rights to Wizards of the Lost Kingdom, when Rifftrax lost them (or never had them). TBQH, I liked the MST3K riff of it better anyway. But I was one of the lucky few who bought the Rifftrax version before it was pulled.

It is up on Amazon Prime right now.
