This fella (of Comicbook.com) says he's received a review of an early cut of the film, saying...

- The reviewer loved it, even going as far as saying 'best film of 2017' (bit early for that, no?)
- No mention of Godzilla, and no dinosaurs
- but, there are other monsters which Kong fights.

First clear look at Kong, and Roberts going through the design process and revealing a few other interesting things about the direction this movie is taking with Kong.

Which makes me think that Kong may not be the antagonist to the humans like the trailer suggest. Shades of Godzilla '14?

[BathTub]

Well that changes the tone a bit.

dear me all four of them

[El Santo]

So, will they appear in a post-credit teaser?

[Darth Geek]

I'm thinking they may just be mentioned by characters in the movie.

What are the possibilities to Pre-Riff this?

I really enjoyed this movie.

I was impressed with what they did with John C. Reilly's character. Based on how crazy he was acting in the trailers, I thought he would turn on them and try to sacrifice them to Kong. But not only didn't they do that, he is one of the few people to survive.
In the movie when we find out his Japanese friend is dead, I was also waiting for it to turn out he was responsible (even indirectly) for that. But no, there was no bait and switch for his character, he was honorable the whole time. So seeing him at the end at home with a beer and hot dog was really satisfying.
