No thread for this yet?

It's currently at 95% on RT.  I'm going to see it on Friday, and I'm super excited.

I haven't watched any trailers for it (I try not to watch trailers), but I just heard about a casting choice that is hilarious.  Doug Benson plays Bane.

Pak-Man

Me and Tyrant are gonna watch it on Valentines Day because I'm a lucky, lucky man.

I'm seeing it this Saturday with a friend. Looking forward to it.

I was under the impression that it was the same writers as the Lego Movie, but apparently not. Still, the trailers are great.

I have heard that the third act is a bit of a mess, but I am trying to avoid spoilers before I see it.

Went and saw it today and really liked it but wasn't as funny as I thought it would be.

I was the only person in the theater to laugh at the Gymkata reference. Plebeians

I got that too, made me chuckle a bit.

I had a lot of fun with this movie. I think I liked Lego Movie better, though. There were a few more times in this when there was so much going on screen that I would lose track of a lot of it.

What movie was the giant green Godzilla like creature from? Everything else was from a specific movie, but that wasn't Godzilla. It looked like the Kraken from Clash of the Titans.

Why was Voldemort not played by Ralph Fiennes?  They should have at least had an interaction.

I didn't notice that while watching it, but it was pointed out in a review I saw. It is odd that they didn't.

So, why was the Joker lamenting that ALL of his fellow villains were lame? Yeah, he had a lot of minor ones like Polka Dot and Condiment King. But he also had major ones like Riddler and Bane.

And on a similar note, why didn't Batman call the Justice League at the end? Yeah, they snubbed him at the party, but they are still better (and more powerful) allies than villains.

I don't know about that.  The Wonder Twins?

Yeah, there were the obscure lame ones there too. But Superman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman alone would be better backup than most of those villains he had at the end. Hell, why wouldn't you call Aquaman if one of the villains Batman is facing is the shark from Jaws!

The only other thing that bothered me was that the Robots as far as I can recall were never referred to as "Daleks". Also, some of the villains from the Phantom Zone seem to be on the C or B list at best. I mean... Gremlins? I guess I'm just kinda bummed there weren't more bigger villains on the same level as Sauron.

I noticed they didn't call the Gremlins by name, even though it's a Warner Brothers movie.
