...What exactly was Bruce Campbell's plan? To blow up a restaurant? Why? We never do see what was on the tape. He mentions something about drug testing on poor people and that's about it. Was he supposed to be one of those people in the slums, 'cause it sure didn't look like it, what with a briefcase full of money and weapons grade Plutonium.

Also, how the hell did they get a hold of Plutonium, and how was that one guy in prop plane so stupid as brag about killing people? And then he somehow safely lands the plane in a forest, but is subsequently dropped out of a helicopter. Good one.

I'm assuming Bruce Campbell built some terrorists a bomb made of pinball machine parts.

It's odd the Asahi Guy so quickly kills the pilot, you'd think it'd dawn on him he needed the pilot to fly the plane.  You'd also think the pilot could have "more easily" crashed the plane instead of the "subtle" way he did it here by lowering the throttle and seemingly but it in a controlled, though steep, dive.  Why not just choke the engine, killing it, and put the plane into a steep nose-dive with a heavy spin? That'd quickly crash the plane and likely in a more devastating manner to lessen the likelihood of survival.

Maybe his plan was to be in a better movie. Like Terminal Invasion.

I never much pay attention to plots in movies especially ones this dumb but where the heck was the villain from? I remember seeing some Russian in the plane but no one attempted a Russian accent. What WAS the agenda? BC just hates everyone and found a few goons and a girl to help? If he is a slumbelly and hates the men in suits why attack Killington, not exactly bastion of yuppiedom? Aspen might have been more suitable.

I think what someone said earlier, maybe in another thread, was right. They wanted to take the bomb out of there and go for a bigger target. But when rotor-pilot Stan Lee was arrested their escape plan had to be nixed and then they just settled for the ski resort target.   I'm assuming his original plan was to blow up a pharmaceutical company given the ham-fisted back story we're given about him, but that's not exactly clear. Nor is too clear on the connection between him and the Raccoon-chick in the Rutland barn, beyond criminal activity. I guess he just had "contacts" with her in order to execute a plan he had to improvise, overnight, when the bomb wasn't delivered by the plane and Asahi Guy?

I'd like to see an action movie where we actually get the see the recruits/henchman being recruited to kill, etc. That would be a movie!

"the Raccoon-chick in the Rutland barn"
I could see a whole genre of fan fic centered around that image.

They did that on Venture Brothers once.
