The movie was a poor-man's Rocky Horror.  Enjoyable riff as well.

Ah, talked me out of a sale.

Wait, there's no singing, is there? There wasn't any singing in the sample.

"Stop that! Stop that! You're not going to do a song while I'm here."
VIVA IL ESORDIO DEL DIABETE ADULTO DUCE!!!

How the hell did anyone compare this to Rocky Horror?!?  I really don't see the connection.

And no, no singing.

Also, I am not fond of Rocky Horror by any means... So maybe the two ARE similar.  They both kinda suck, and when I watch them each I have the same look of blank confusion on my face.

Yeah, I don't see the connection to Rocky Horror at all, poor man's, rich man's, any man's....

Just my opinion, sorry.  It occurred to me on my first viewing.  It looked like it was aimed at the same audience (those with lesser standards than Tim Curry in women's underwear), and they were made about 5 years apart.

Stranded, the group is forced to seek help in a weird, isolated house of mad science with a cadre of kooky sidekicks.  Both are Frankenstein stories.  Instead of alien transylvanians in colorful costumes, you get alien amazonian women in bikinis.  Songs and choreography take time, money and talent, but jiggling leopard bikinis and drum beats not so much.  The mads control their guests with gadgets like mind control and the doctor is impressed with their technology that he inexplicably understands.  In the end the house and all the people are gone (or fly away).  I made a few more connections but I hope this demonstrates my train of thought.

Your mind works in weirder trails than mine... and I mean that as a compliment.

And a plot!
This was all over the place :speechless:

And it needed a "fine" actor like Nic Cage!

This is the sort of film were you wonder how did it ever get made? I mean surely somewhere in the editing process which before digital camera's was a hard, tedious, fiddly job someone must  have said "this is just a incoherent mess of bad acting awful special effects idiotic plot and the star of the film is not actually IN the film:( no one is going to pay actual money to see this are they? why don't we just throw all this stock in the dumpster and go get drunk?"

Watched this one again.  It's... really all over the place.  As bad as Batwoman was there was... shockingly more focus.  Here, they keep introducing stuff that is adds up to nothing.  It also feels very Sid and Marty Krofft (though keep in mind, I don't think I've seen a full episode of any of their shows).

Darth Geek

Wow. I only got 48 minutes into this thing and had to turn it off. The riff was funny, but the movie was such a nonsensical chore.
