I'm an overweight female and I wouldn't want to see more fat people in romantic leading roles.  Healthy looking (when you can not see ribs through their upper chest)- yes,  fat- no.
Nicolas Cage is .... FU MANCHU!!

www.sinflux.com  Cool clothes for cool people *double thumbs up*

Well, we have a difference of opinion. I just know that whenever I see a fat girl in a mainstream movie, certain neurons fire off in my reward triangle, creating the sensation of pleasure.

That and I'm a freaking zealot on the subject.

Finding this conversation moving into a potentially scary area, I'm going to try to move on to

#9: A movie where ninjas and pirates go to war, but in the climactic battle scene between the two baddest of the bad, it turns into a sissy slap fight. A voodoo pirate and a demon possessed ninja just slapping at each others hands.
Especially if it's a really epic movie otherwise. Then it's like a joke exclusive to people who can laugh at themselves. That's a ninja joke.

gbeenie

That's no fight. Ninjas don't use guns. Pirates win.

In sissy slap fights, all men are equal.
Except, you know, Edward Scissorhands.
And the Human Torch.
And probably the Hulk. He'd just slap your hands off.
And, actually, anyone with a hook hand, like a pirate.

You're thinking about it too much, buddy.  ;D

Or Sabertooth. I bet he'd be good in a slapfight. Or Colossus/Iron Man, with those steel hands.

You know, I'd like to see a cage match between Nick Nolte and Nicholas Cage. It'd be billed as "Pudgy, Wrinkly and Out For Blood".

Yes!  Or, "Slapbox : The Quest for Justice"

Dim of the Yard

I'd like to see a good movie that was based off of a video game.  I'd prefer it if that movie wasn't just an excessively long cutscene in the movie.  It would be really, really nice if the movie wasn't self-important.  And it should go without saying that Uwe Boll should not be involved, on pain of death.

I woulod also adore it if somebody made the stunning sequel to Snakes on a Plane: Planes on a Snake.  80 minutes of gratuitous airplane-wheel-on-snake-carcass action!  Direct ripoff of Samuel L. Jackson's internet-inspired line optional.

Fuzzy Necromancer

I'd like to see a three hour looking moody match between Nicholas cage and Harrison Ford.

The Projected Man would do pretty good in a slapfight.

I always said that they should make a Tetris movie. It'd be epic man, epic...

I'm still gonna stand by.........

"How about a werewolf movie where the guy who is the werewolf gets bitten by zombies while he is a human during the day and he becomes a zombie.   During the full moon, he could be a zombie werewolf."

Now THAT would make the movie an instant classic.   I wonder if we could afford her???

I'd like to see a movie not based on a video-game, sitcom, comic book, amusement-park ride, "true events", an earlier film, a novel, or cult phenomena and urban legends. I'd like an original idea treated in an interesting manner by a movie which doesn't fit the archetypical molds of "action", "romance", "comedy", etc.

I don't want to see "Gilligan's Island: The Motion Picture", or "Deliverance 2: Beleaguered Sphincters".(avoid the home-game on that one if you can.)

I know I sound like a pompous jackass, and I know there is nothing new under the sun, and I know the literary canon has been looted, but how about reaching a little deeper? I'm sick of the same old stuff. 'Nuff said. As a side-line, how about "Bram Stoker's Heidi" ?
