Now we just need all Michael Bay film DVDs to come with the Rifftrax as the only option.

Neat!  I wonder if the site's VOD will get an HD upgrade as a result.
I draw comics!

I've been waiting for something like this to happen. Is this the first time someone other than Rifftrax has put Rifftrax on disc?

Kinda, but kinda not. The Sandra Bullock/ Melissa McCarthy buddy comedy "The Heat" had the CT crew on to riff it in one of their commentary tracks. Not quite the same thing, but close.

That's interesting. I wonder if they would still do that now? I assume it was because the movie was 'knowingly' bad? But now they are doing Sharknado 1 & 2, so...

Legend Films/Rifftrax turned Rick Sloane down.
Interesting. I wonder if it was because of the knowingly bad nature of the movie. Now that they've done Sharknado 1 and 2 (and are presumably likely to do 3), maybe they have softened their stance on such things.
Or maybe the only reason they did Sharknado at all was just because it was a bad movie cultural zeitgeist that Rifftrax knew they could take advantage of.

EDIT: Grug beat me to it by a few seonds

This is awesome; I'll be all over this.  Wish they would've done it for Hobgoblins 2, too; and would definitely like to see more like this in the future.

They said they would never do Birdemic 2, and when I called foul on FB on Sharknado 2, they said it was "only Birdemic 2" they were talking about.

I would rather birdemic 2 over any Sharknado, hands down
