What would you like to see in a movie?
I mean this differently than "What makes a good movie?" This is for any concept or spectacle you want to see in a Hollywood film.

Mine wish list:
1: An overweight heroine whose weight isn't a running joke, and who gets the guy in the end.
2: Bigfoot fighting a Werewolf/ Bigfoot becoming a werewolf.
3: A romantic comedy where all the charicters are Monty Python style "Gumbies." (YOU HAD ME AT HULLO!!!)
4: Godzilla vs Paul Bunyan.

Best. Movie. Ever.

Oh, and how could I forget the one movie I really DO wish someone would make-
5: Godzilla vs Gamera

I desire with all my heart to see a movie in which William Shatner and Adam West, the two heroes of my youth, play enemies, and simply act like themselves for two hours.

Odds are the SciFi Channel has already done it. Along with Bigfoot vs. Chupacabra .

On a related note, I once rented a movie  called Vampires vs. Zombies, and it was about as good as it sounds. It has a stunning 1.7 out of 10 on IMDB and the top search keywords include "plotless", "b-movie" and "lesbian".

But I digress. In a movie, I would like to see a "strong woman" who is actually strong, not just bitchy and supermodel-hot.

Sounds like my kind of movie. Off I go to Netflix...

I dunno, man. I couldn't even make it more than halfway through it... the movie just kind of wanders aimlessly like an unattended Alzheimer's patient with a dozen lesbian scenes and implausibly bloody killings thrown in randomly to contrast with the tedium. There are way "better" b-movies to laugh ruefully at. Look for one called Raptor: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0292634/ It'll have you on the floor clutching at your chest.

I wanna see a battle royale featuring Ninjas, Pirates, Robots, Samurai, Knights, Cowboys, and Dinosaurs.  With large female breasts featured every few minutes.

Vampires vs Zombies......... WOW.   :o

It is now number one in my Netflix queue.   I think I need professional help.

You had me at "a dozen lesbian scenes."

How do you think I feel? I actually rented the thing. When my cousin and I got to the second or third lesbian scene, we just shared mutual "um.."s and "uh..."s and glanced awkwardly at each other; the scenes come in no particular context, with no humor or even music. It's like the movie just shifted into porn and completely forgot what the title was.

mrbasehart

Sounds like the perfect movie to watch...alone.   >:D

Bob

I've also added Raptor.

Man, the folks at netflix must really worry about me.

RobtheBarbarian

Yeah, but whoever gets the royalties must be amazed. A big manila envelope comes in the mail with 15 cents in it and the accountant's jaw drops when he reads the invoice...

"Vam... Vampires vs. Zombies? What the fuck!?"

8: James Bond getting his junk tortured by an effeminant man who cries blood.

But alas, that is one dream I fear will never come to pass.
