'Spider-Man' Animated Movie Coming in 2018
On Thursday, Sony announced a new animated feature for the Marvel superhero from "The Lego Movie" directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

So...we're going to get Spiderman next year in Captain America 3, then in 2017 a standalone Spiderman movie made by a different company that won't be part of the Marvel Universe continuity, then in 2018 he will be in Avengers: Infinity War the same year a standalone animated movie that will not be part of the Marvel Universe continuity or probably continue from the last live action standalone Spiderman movie. Yeah, I don't see that getting confusing for the general public at all.

I thought the current plan included the new Spider-man to be shared between universes now. The Sony movies will have the same actor, just without the crossovers from the rest of the Marvel cast.

No idea how they'll handle the animated one.

I dont get the point of a Spider-Man animated theatrical release.  Unless its just Sony trying to milk it for all its worth before super hero movies go out style?

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

Yeah, if there names weren't attached, it would seem like the worst idea.  Now it seems like the best.  So we don't need those other ones, thanks.
