But Jarvis is just a artificial intelligence, so he wouldn't "die" to become The Vision.

He could metaphorically die.  I personally am hoping its Pepper.  Paltrow is a total bitch.

I'm guessing it will be either Falcon or Rhodey. A side character, but at least we have gotten to know them. And the fallout of either Captain America or Iron Man losing their friend will lead to the start of the Civil War storyline.

It'd be a shame to kill off one of the few black characters so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But they already kind of did with Nick Fury.

I guess it depends on what they mean by important.  After all, Falcon has only been in one movie, hes not that important.  Rhodey is a possibility, maybe Hawkeye.  He is kind of useless anyway.  I doubt they would have the guts to kill off Black Widow.

Hawkeye and Black Widow are listed in the cast on upcoming movies so I assume they are safe

Iron Man and Captain America both have Civil War upcoming. Hulk doesn't really DO death (Although if they shot him into space it could lead to a fun couple story arcs I can think of). It'd be a shame to kill off Scarlet Witch or Quicksilver right after introducing them. So if Widow and Hawkeye are both accounted for, and if we assume it's an Avenger that leaves... Thor? Would they kill Thor?

planet hulk would be amazing, but so very unlikely.

Maybe not, they have to do something with the Hulk to keep him out of the civil war.  I wouldnt expect a Planet Hulk movie to be as epic as the comics though.
