Performed live at SF Sketchfest to rave reviews, now available for download, it's Night of the Shorts: A Good Day to Riff Hard!

Mike, Kevin, and Bill take on some of the funniest, most unbelievable vintage shorts we've ever found, live in the beautiful Castro Theatre with a crew of hilarious guest riffers!

Hilarious guest riffers, you ask? Like who, you go on to ask? Hey, thanks for asking both of those questions! Joining the guys on stage we've got John Hodgman, Paul F. Tompkins, Todd Barry, Janet Varney, and Cole Stratton! Laughs are laughed! Friendships are formed! Affectionate attachments between certain guest riffers and certain educational short characters are also formed! (ahem Hodgman ahem)

And for the finale, in an insane gambit we've never attempted before, the entire crew of guests on stage at once for an all hands on deck riffing of perhaps our favorite and most inexplicable short of all time, Setting Up a Room. What results is the best kind of madness, and a one-of-a-kind show you don't want to miss!

WARNING: There are some f-bombs tossed about and the language is NOT bleeped.

YAY!

[Miku Fan]

I'll take it!  Can I have it delivered to my computer?

[Lembach]

This has turned around what was looking to be a very boring night. Huzzah!

[ScottotD]

Thanks Janet and Cole!

Yay Paul F.!

[Miku Fan]

Yes, thanks, Janet and Cole.   That was a fun VOD.

I'd get this, but I still have no way to send my earnings to my Canadian account.  Hopefully, when my birthday comes around, I'll get a gift certificate...

I enjoyed this, although the guests weren't necessarily better at the riffs than Mike, Kevin and Bill are. But the big thing I missed was my favorite riff from Setting Up A Room was missing. Since it was a live show they didn't have Bill's line about "look at the time remaining on your video player" that just kills me every time.

I wanna get this but I don't if it's full of shorts I've already seen. Would one of guys who've seen it list the shorts that are already available?

Yes, I believe they are all previously released. And it didn't seem like they had been rewritten either.

Thanks! Was trying to keep up with Paul F. Tompkins (which isn't possible, but I tried!)

The guys provided the scripts, but the guests were allowed to improvise or rewrite their lines, which some of us did. I definitely went off script a few times and threw in some riffs of my own. So I'd say the bulk of it is on script, but there are some alts in there. Plus banter and live audience stuff and all that.

It's like buying a cd, then going to see the band live!  It's worth it.

Bill ditched the Mum jeans from 2013, nice one Bill
