The only time I have ever found post counts to be a problem (I am an Admin on another board) is when people try to use their post counts as a status symbol and act like forum snobs.  To see what I mean, go to Kevin Smith's viewaskewniverse message board as a newbie (cleverly called Jizzmopper, BTW) and just try to have a conversation or an opinion.  You will get some poster named snoochieboottchies27, with a post count of 35,000 telling everyone in the forum you are a moron because you only have twelve posts.

I do think it is a moot point here, though......I don't really see that kind of behavior here.  that would be the only reason to get rid of the post counts, in my view.

Hmm... at my current rate... divide by pi... carry the one... I should reach 35000 posts in about 6.5 years. At Sarc's current rate, he'd reach 35000 posts in 3.3 years. Of course, if he kept up this rate for that long we'd probably kill him.

and at my current rate it would be WAY faster than that.  in fourn months give or take ive getten about 5200 posts.  when i got here in jan i dont think anyone had over 1000 posts

Twice, I've disagreed with you twice recently (and I did just look at my past post for the past few months to be sure I'm not picking on you). Once was in the passion thread and I think everyone in the board disagrees with everyone in the board on that thread.  I, however, disagreed with you based on what I had read and not your personal opinion or my personal opinion.  I could have disagreed with your personal opinion in that thread but i didn't because debating with people on the Internet about religion is pretty futile.

I don't think that's having a hard-on for anything you do or I could possibly do to you.  I could honestly care less about you.  Not at all shocking or hurtful to you I'm sure but the fact that you like to think I'm out to get you and my whole existence is based on pissing you off is laughable.  I guess it's flattering that you think of me that way.

I'm just sick of your holier than though attitude with post counts (and it's come up before), especially when half of the stuff you've posted of late is just as useless and off topic as the birthday threads and other things you think are inappropriate.
