What dark things did you learn?

I learned that ancient Native Americans real liked to twirl their axes and more just show-off with them rather than actually just use them as a weapon.

I learned that women are just generally more annoyed when you barge in their home, bathroom, or shower rather than consider calling the police or taking any aggressive action against you and your presence.

I learned that there are lamer whip-based scenes than the ones in "The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."

RVR II

I learned that watermelon jokes were ok in 80s movies, and hot chicks aren't immune from being killed off in sucky movies :o

I learned there are History/Mathmatics majors.

You can carpet bathrooms.

Children really enjoy twirling their suction-cup bows, loading the bow, and then unloading it. but not so much into actuially firing their bow.

Children are really afraid of a small group of not threatening or entirely vicious dogs.

Said dogs were really close to running into the Boggy Creek Creature during their trek through the woods.

I was really hoping for a reference to that. Like "We'd like to thank Fido for letting us put a GoPro on his head."

It made me laugh and I was hoping for a reference too, I had just rewatched The Legend of Boggy Creek II this past week, too.

I'm actually in support of the rich douchbag guy who inherits the house. If the Four Eagles didn't want this asshole to get his house, MAKE A FUCKING WILL!

Wait, so disturbing the Indian burial ground is what causes all this, but Four Eagles WANTED THE GROUND DUG UP?!

This movie's obsession with whips is even MORE stupid than the obsession with quick-draw standoffs in Final Justice.

TriffRax

I learned a video poker machine is the appropriate choice to record the hero's theme music.

And yet probably still less annoying than Johnny Test's (the show) obsession with their sound effect.

I learned that if they hadn't killed that one hot girl, the zombies would have been the good guys.

I learned some writers actually sat and down and decided "Y'know what would be a cool final confrontation, a one on one bullwhip duel". No. No it would not. Although I have to admit, when Lash grabbed the last zombie's whip. I thought for a second he was going going to dual wield them. That actually would have been cool.

I learned that Carpeted Bathrooms were a thing in the 80s in the Southeast

ScottotD

I learned 80's gamer gaters had to harass women and be racist more directly, weird homophobic hillbilly is selectively racist, Southern people write other Southern people as mostly dumb, the zombie characters were fun, that face ripping scene was almost pretty good and whip fights are dumb.

"A thing I like that there was no chance would ever continue until recently is now continuing but it doesn't meet my exact personal specifications so fuck this"

- how I read any complaint about MST3k (or Star Wars or Ghostbusters)

Darth Geek

I did NOT learn just what powers these supposedly magically powered sorcerers actually had. Once they came back to life, they seemed pretty mortal. They didn''t really do anything special. In fact, the one with the tomohawks was downright incompetant at his chosen specialty. None of them shot energy beams or lightning bolts or anything.

I learned that seventeen o'clock (aka 5:00 PM) is an "oddball" time for a news program.
