It's crazy dangerous. Jai Alai balls are like rocks. They cost upwards of $100, but will often fall apart after only 20 minutes of play.  Getting slammed into a granite wall at 150 mph over and over has that effect.

Sort of like having sex with Lady Ga Ga.

TriffRax

I can't think of Jai Alai without thinking about Archer so I was kinda disappointed there were no Archer-based riffs.

Yeah, that was the first thing I thought of too.

Darth Geek

I did like in this movie when even one of the characters (I forget which one), actually says "all of this over a Jai Alai player?"

TriffRax

Actually the whole film was kind of like an episode of Archer except with a more unpleasant leading man.

abosch

I had to Google "jeepney" after watching this movie.

If you accidentally hit someone while filming your car chase scene, you may as well use the footage.

MerryWanna

I learned that the guy who played Satan in Beast of the Yellow Night makes a really horrible hippie.

Heh. I want to "Like" that post.

I learned what "jai alai" is other than thinking it was "some-sort-of goofy-looking lacrosse.

Apparently it's big as a betting sport in Vegas.

NRRork

I learned there's a depiction of Jai Alai outside of the first season of Mad Men (I THINK it was the first season. . . it was an early season).

I learned that Bill will abandon rhyme and meter to speak the truth.
I used to have an image here, but Photobucket got cheap about remote linking. I guess I'll have to think of something witty instead. Which I will. Later. It caught me by surprise, in all honesty. It's hard to be clever on command, I mean, YOU try it. Be funny: NOW! See, tough. So, gimme a bit, 'kay?

Pastor of Muppets

I learned the importance of a good fight choreographer by seeing what happens when you don't have one.
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.
