Cool/Interesting/Funny Fanatic/Geek Movie/TV/'other' Collectible Stuff

Good to know.  Definitely thinking about that set then.  Marty, have you ever posted any of your models on the starshipmodeler.com gallery?

I read that site once in a while, but the crazy rule about no inline images is annoying so I moved over to hobbytalk.com for that kind of thing.  So much easier to see a wall of images instead of a wall of links that you have to click on one at a time.  Also they delete old threads, that was the other thing that made me move to hobbytalk.

I didnt know where to post this, I guess this thread will work.  I have to say, I think Optimus looks pretty badass as a cowboy Kre-o figure.

This is just brilliant!

Somebody made a candle in the shape of the Nazi that gets his face melted in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I think this belongs here.

As it's one of my favorite MST3K's I wanted to make a print for some of my favorite names. There are many not listed on the print as there are over 40 featured in the movie however these had the best graphics to go along with the names. This print listing is for the Mystery Science Theater 3000 S8E20 episode for the 1988 film "Space Mutiny" starring Dolph Lungren, Debbie Reynolds, Sting, Santa, Pat Riley, Rick Springfield and God.

I got Imperial Assault just before Christmas, so I figured I would take a stab at painting them. My first attempt at painting miniatures.
Basically up to using a wash on these guys before proceeding with the other half of the figures.

Quite a surprising amount of detail on them, I had never noticed that the storm trooper uniform was asymmetrical and their knees where quite different.

Call Starhunter Universe M!  Tell them to send Geigan right away!

Godzilla t-shirt arrived.  Rifftrax coffee mugs arrived.  Going to enjoy a mug of coffee in my stylish Rifftrax mug, and spill it on my stylish t-shirt.  One thing about the mug- it looks like a decal, which *may* mean it's not dishwasher safe.   I'll hand wash mine, just to be safe.  I put my original MST coffee mug from 1992 in the dishwasher and ruined it.

Thought I'd share the view to my right when I'm in the recliner watching TV.
It's been in that spot since last summer but it just occurred to me it would make a nice photo:

Coming up on 1 year since I ordered the kit...
