No More Ice Cream Bunny?

[waitingforgo]

It looks like Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny is no longer available to buy from RiffTrax. Does anyone know the inside "scoop"? (See what I did there?)

[BathTub]

huh, interesting catch!

I discovered it when I made my exhaustive analysis of the RiffTrax Animated Intro, and noticed the Ice Cream Bunny features prominently at several points. In my annotations, I wanted to make sure I got the name of the film right... and discovered I couldn't find it anymore on the site! (And it seems well and truly taken down... the old URL doesn't work for it anymore.)

I downloaded the .mpg file, and it onl has the audio. The I tried to watch it streaming on the product page, and it just had the audio, the screen was just green.

Mine works fine streaming.

[Action Batch]

Streaming works for me as well.

To follow up here (in case anyone stumbles across this thread again): It looks like the Ice Cream Bunny is available to buy again. If I were prone to idle speculation -- which I totally am -- I'd guess it was taken offline with an eye toward it possibly being this year's Christmas offering (so they took it offline so that they wouldn't be "competing" with themselves or confusing would-be customers). Then, when the 1959 Santa Claus became available instead, they put the Ice Cream Bunny back online.

I have absolutely no evidence that this is true.
