What is the policy when "Presents" candidates (or iRiffs) do a film you want?

If this question has been answered elsewhere I could not find it easily, or my search-fu is unworthy.

I see that Dune was done by some rather good "presents" alumni, but who wouldn't want to hear it from the great 3 with or without additional guests?

Have any properties been done more than once?

These questions must have come up either as an open community question or among the principals. It if is a FAQ(s), please feel free to redirect me, I cherish my revealed error.

Yeah, there is no real "policy" about Rifftrax doing a movie already having been riffed by iRiff groups. Quiptracks (one of the best of the best iRiff groups) already did an excellent riff of Godzilla 1998, for example.

So far I don't think they've ever re-riffed something done by Rifftrax Presents, since those are still official Rifftrax products. Dune has only been done as an iRiff so far though. Three different iRiffs, actually.

you only sacrifice three chickens and a goat, rather than the customary five.

If that were the case, RVR II would have made the chicken extinct by now just to get a Rifftrax of DUNE.

Thanks folks! I like the open-ended lack of constraint.

I will say that, having only done the Spoony Experiment one, that it made me laugh about as much as an official effort.

In that case, definitely try the RoninFox one.
