I'm ordering ten Blu Rays. Have it narrowed down to a list of about 15, just waiting for my wife's input.

Here's my shortlist:

F for Fake
The Shooting/Ride in the Whirlwind
La dolce vita
The Freshman
Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion
My Darling Clementine
The Innocents
The Rules of the Game
Judex
The Seventh Seal
Pickpocket
Insomnia
City Lights
Picnic at Hanging Rock
Charade

What are you getting, RD?

[Edward J Grug III]

My wife couldn't choose five movies to drop, so we're getting all of them except for Insomnia. Should arrive before our Christmas holidays, which is very exciting to me!

Nice DVD deal at Best Buy for the next couple of days. A few movies at $1.99, including a four pack of sci-fi films: Flash Gordon/ Last Starfighter/ Battlestar Galactica (The 70s one) and Dune. Which I think might have been subject of an iRiff or two.

Whoops, didn't see this until now.

My wishlist was a short one (I'm always incredibly picky when it comes to what movies I buy these days, and that goes doubly so for Criterion):
F for Fake
Seven Samurai
Safety Last
Traffic
The Night of the Hunter

I passed that list along to a few others, so at least a few should be coming my way for Christmas.

I also saw Charade last night and loved it, so I'll try to swing by the store and get it tomorrow, since the sale should still be in effect until tomorrow evening.

I've also been really curious about Judex for a while now, but can't seem to find any way to actually watch the thing (I swore off blind buying many years ago, so I can't go that route).
