Whats the exchange rate for good karma to US currency?

Let's do a little math.  Depending on what kind, a chameleon will cost you an average of $80.00 in the US.  Some a little more, some a little less.  But $80.00 seems to be a good average.

Now, as we all know, there are 5 karma's in a chameleon.  So we divide $80.00 by 5, and we get $16 per karma.  That's an exchange rate of 6.3¢KA/US$.  The dollar is pretty strong in comparison.  But that could always change, as exchange rates come and go.

Out-fuckin-standing

I have a nook.  :-[

AND an  HD-DVD player? Oh, my poor, sweet baby.

I actually really like my nook. It's a useful little piece of tech. I like Amazon fine enough, but I don't know, I prefer the nook.

I have a friend who is consistently on the wrong side of technology. Starting with Beta Max to Jaguar and SEGA CD all they way up to an HDDVD player. He also bought an Xbox1 which does not bode well for them.

Oh man. The only thing I know about the Atari Jaguar was from Spoony's review of "Highlander - Last of the MacLeods".

What a technological abomination.

I was feeling very rubbish today. Very depressed and unhappy. I had a bout of wanting to drink away the depression. Didn't do it. That was at noon. Proud of me!

Had a great time with Gary and Erin Wickering (Hor-Riff-ic Productions) over the weekend! The LIVE riff of The Stuff went over very well with the crowd. We had a great time at the after parties, especially the karaoke (no, I didn't sing). Spent a lot of time at their house watching all manner of good and bad horror movies. As well as a few riffs. Quiptracks riffs of Ghost Rider and The Covenant, both of which they liked a lot.

DG, do you just hunt down all the riffing groups and spend time with them?

Pretty much. I've got my eye on the wild Cinester Theater next. But they are elusive and easily spooked.

Impossible to tell. They travel in a straight line.

I'll just tell you know the best place to stalk us lately is Alamo Drafthouse, especially if there is a Quote-Along that night.

Right this instant - just before 4am Eastern - Amazon.com has Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie Blu-ray/DVD combo, for only $13.49!!  Film title is link.  It'd been hovering at about $20 for a long time.

Just ordered mine. :)
