Weird to change that 4 movies into a series, especially if it's still PG how is it not a 'kids movie'?

Maybe he meant "even kids won't be stupid enough to enjoy this?"

Didn't Michael Bay make that movie already? I think it was called REVENGE OF THE FALLEN.

Uh...so why is Optimus Prime hiding out in the middle of nowhere, like Yoda? How long does this take place after the last one? It seems like it's a long time because of him being rusty, but they don't rust like normal cars so presumably that's a disguise...?

Sideswipe

He is hiding to avoid all the anti Transformer backlash from inadvertently destroying Chicago.  This movie is 4 years after the last one.  Yes, you are right, it is only a disguise.  Also the phone number on the billboard is an actual working phone number.  Yeah, I called it.

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

"inadvertantly" destroying Chicago? The Autobots pretended to be blown up so they could have "the element of surprise" which didn't amount to anything, and only served to wait for the battle to take place AFTER the Decepticons had already started their attack on Chicago. So yeah, that's largely on them.
I do like that there is some actual consequences for the actions in previous movies.
Sadly, while the look of them has changed a little bit, they are still WAY overcomplicated and messy to watch when moving.

Hey Optimus is the same kind of truck he was in the cartoon/toy now.

They did actually have some surprise advantage.  They were able to get to Chicago without having to fight the whole way there and managed to get almost all the way to the pillar.  Had they not pretended to be blown up, they would have had to fight the entire Decepticon army from Washington D.C. to Chicago, a distance of almost 700 miles.  Seemed like Optimus had a sound strategy.

They are robots in DISGUISE, and have already shown that they can turn into ANYTHING (thereby making it 'morphing', not 'transforming', but that is another issue). I don't buy that they couldn't have gotten there in secret before many many thousands of human deaths.

Sideswipe

No, we have been shown they can transform into vehicles with similar mass as their own.  Also, I still dont find it very likely that if the Autobots refused to surrender the Decepticons would have just let them go on their merry way.

Not sure I want to see the scene where he uses that. Or do I?
