This one... this one looks like it's going to hurt.

Oh good. I saw this was already up and thought THERE IS NO WAY YOU COULD HAVE ALREADY WATCHED THIS! Firefox has already given up on downloading this movie TWICE, which is infuriating. Might have something to do with my connection.

I just realized that these guys are going to be a royal pain in the ass to draw. And before anybody says "you don't have to, SRD," let me say that YES THE HELL I DO!

Yeah, I just like starting these threads. Watching the movie now. :)

I'm not even through the credits yet and I already learned that there is wind in space.

I learned that Supersonic [Man] need not travel faster than the speed of sound to be deemed "supersonic."

I learned that Cameron Mitchel must have had a cold or something while filming this because he seemed to be scratching at and finger-wiping his nose a lot.

I learned that the fine people of New York City drive crappy European cars.

Darth Geek

I learned that bags for dumping dead bodies "gotta be breathable".

Darth Geek

That no matter how bad this movie is, I am still grateful for the lack of protracted clichéd origin story taking up over a third of it.

I learned that Cameron Mitchell made a career out of playing one guy.
I learned that there are certain movie genres that only Japan can be trusted with.
I learned that something can make me miss Prince of Space.

Look, was this supposed to be a comedy or what? Was this supposed to be a kids' movie (a la Doctor Who and the Daleks)? I kept waiting for the Cinemax love scene, and it NEVER HAPPENED. I just felt really bad for the dog. Poor damn dog. *snif*
WARNING: In case of Rapture, this dance belt will be unoccupied.

I learned that Billy went on to do special effects for other movies. Apparently he had a thriving career in the movie business. Until his Mom put him down for his nap.

chibikim

I learned that the director of this was also the same guy that directed Pod People. Yeah....Just keep that in mind when watching this.

Bob

I learned this WAS a movie cuz I never heard of it or the character before.  Did it only play in Arizona drive ins?

Please. Arizona drive-ins have standards they have to hold up to!

Then again, we learn nothing more about this hero than "he's an alien who can do things" at least with "protracted origin stories" we learn some of the powers and limitations of a hero.

I learned that flying is apparently really hard on your rotator cuff.

Maybe he get's pulled around by his fist. I imagine Hal Jordan has similar discomforts.
