Oh this sounds awesome! I'm not that big a Dr. Who fan, so it'll be great to see someone ripping it apart for a change, rather than the intire internet jizzing over it.

Even the die-hard Dr. Who fans can enjoy this one as it's a re-imagined non-canon story-line where Dr. Who isn't a Time Lord - just a scientist.

A Peter Cushing one too!

I am guessing a VOD, which would be super.

Tarantulas

I sure hope it's a VOD, since Netflix has this parked at "Save" :\

As a big Doctor Who and Rifftrax fan, this is just full of SQUEE!

I know I'm going to get major crap for this (but I don't greatly care) so here goes:

I know the Daleks are supposed to be "scary", but it's a little difficult to be scared by something that looks like a ginormous trash can on wheels that talks like a demented Cone Head.  Sorry, I just don't see why (or how) they're supposed to be this great threat or whatever they are.

Yes, I know I won't be purchasing it because of my severe lack of a regular income, but I have to ask this question: Do you have to be a Doctor Who fan to be able to understand what's going on in this episode?  Once I finally get a permanent job and I'm able to catch up on all the Rifftrax I've been missing out on, I don't want to be confused because I don't watch the show rarely watch the show at all.

Okay, I sort of fibbed there yesterday.  I very, very, very, very, very rarely watch Doctor Who.  The only Doctors I'm aware of are Christopher Eccelston, David Tenant, and the current one Matt Smith.  It's just not a show I feel like I can get into.

TheUnabeefer

No, this is a (somewhat) stand-alone movie that really has little-to-nothing to do with the show.  Instead of an alien timelord, he's just a human NAMED "Who" (last name) and he's a doctor (scientist) who invents a time machine.

I've seen it. It's pretty bad. I can't wait to see the riff.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

TheUnabeefer

Oh and as for the Daleks... I don't think they look very menacing either really. The freaky part is merely that they are (mostly) just simply undefeatable. (unless you're the doctor) They just keep coming.

I think if you combined the Daleks and the Cybermen, you'd get the Borg.

Don't watch DOCTOR WHO, and have never even heard of this movie. But it could be interesting.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Former member Doctor Who? isn't around to post about this.  If he wasn't so abrasive, I'd feel worse about it.  Oh, well, he's out there somewhere enjoying it, I bet.  Anyhoo, this should be a lot of fun.  A VOD I assume (man, Rifftrax has been killing it with VOD choices this year!)

Long Tall Jodie

To reiterate, this is a completely standalone movie that has NOTHING to do with the TV show aside from the Daleks themselves.  It's a totally reimagined... thing.  Which is to say, anyone can watch it completely fresh.
I draw comics!

So does this mean Invasion Earth is next? Pretty sure both Cushing Who movies are on YouTube in their entirety.
