The preview looks good and I like the way they made the mask more modern, but still has the original feel.  The key bit of casting will be the female lead of Scout Taylor-Compton.   Since she pretty much has to do all the heavy lifting in this film, she better be up to it.

Using Battlefield Earth logic, if he ever road a horse before, then he can drive a car without any issues.

It looked ok.  I'm still not terribly excited by the movie, but knowing Zombie's other films, all the "good stuff" is impossible to show in a trailer.

I have one huge problem for this remake of Halloween. The music. I read somewhere that Rob is NOT using the original Halloween theme anywhere in the movie. BIG MISTAKE!
Could you imagine a Friday the 13th movie without it's musical thing?
Or what if Bryan Singer had chosen not to use the original Superman theme?
Indiana Jones gets a totally new score by Danny Elfman for the next movie.
It's just wrong.
Some themes just make the movie, are an integral part of the movie. This is one of them.
I like Rob Zombies music overall , but to couple his stuff with this and not use that theme (even a metaled-up version of the theme) is a terrible terrible mistake.
