Who knows, they have about 5 they could have filmed and could issue.

Time will tell.

Oh pshaw, I went to Cleveland to see them, and I'm from Syracuse  :P

I wish I had your drive, sir. Bravo.

Mrs. Dick Courier

I drove over 200 miles to see them in Durham.

And if they come back to Durham I will make the drive again.

Some kind of Rifftrax Presents with MST3k Alumni would be wonderful, since this is the 25th anniversary year and all.

They ARE doing something for the 25th anniversary (new box set, etc.), right? I daydreamed about their spin on the Doctor Who-style anniversary special the other day...

They closed their forum last week too.  So, um, hey, fellow MSTies, anyone got a forum couch I can crash on to while moving from an internet storm shelter to Rifftrax fan land?

If I had to do my teens all over again, I still would have had no drivers license and still would have memorized bad movies.  Every Turkey Day was well spent as is.

I know they did a handful of movies that are not on DVD yet.......they HAVE to be on DVD some day.    Er, right?

I would Hope so but again, who would have thought just sticking to doing Live shows would be profitable..
I sure hope they put out those DVDs but I give it a 50/50 chance of seeing them released..  :-\
Maybe someone will record an unseen show and post someday :o

I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but having watched a few of the CT movies on Hulu, they are not that funny. Moments - yes - but the humor seemed forced, and the need to "give everyone a line" really diluted it somehow.

Mike Nelson was Head Writer for MST3K for the reason that he's funny as hell.

Did you watch a live one or one of the studio releases? Because I think the live ones are far better than the studio ones.

Darth Geek

Yeah, the ones I have seen (Danger on Tiki Island, East Meets Watts and War of the Insects) have all been pretty good. Not necessarily better than MST3K or Rifftrax in their prime or anything, but definitely good.

Live shows/dvds/cds all suck huge cock.
To test your theory.... I just spent the last 15minutes with my wingwang inside the plastic case of a live CD, and apparently even the fact that he was "Coming Alive" did not seem to do the job.

I find you in error, sir.

They closed their forum last week too.

That seems premature.

Were you guys all just telling them off for quitting?
