Well since I work 2nd shift, and previous audio issues at the nearest theater about 20 miles from my locale, as well as the costs of theater tickets and snack costs.. I'll just have to hear about it I guess  :-[
One of the rewards is a download of the live show. So just support up to that level and you'll get to see it.

Robert Pattinson hates the series, he'd probably show up.
Would he? Maybe for a modest fee. $75 million stretch goal!

Yeah, $20 or more and you get the digital download ~60 days after the event.

I guess I should revise my previous estimate down from 1 or 2 days to 1 or 2 hours.  ;D

So none of these actually includes tickets to the event (outside the VIP ones)?

From the page:

QuoteThe other challenge to this Kickstarter is that we are unable to do the most obvious thing: pre-sell actual movie theater tickets to the August 2013 live show. The reason for this is that we can't control which theaters will pick it up, and the logistics of pre-selling tickets to hundreds of various theater chains is pretty near impossible.

Disappointing, yes, but I'm happy with pre-ordering the VOD, shorts and mp3.

I don't really have much money these days but that 30 bucks for the download and the shorts package is calling me.
I'm assuming we have the month to think this over.

I put in $60. Here's hoping this is mega-successful and it leads to other big budet not previouly riffed live shows

I believe it says that all accounts wouldn't be debited until March 27, so I'm gonna wait.

just shy of 52K so far.
An email announcing it might have put this over the goal already. I just happened upon it while checking the forum today.

Put in for $15, looking forward to the shorts.  If it goes over 55,000 (in a few seconds probably) would we be able to keep contributing, or is it capped at all?  Never did anything with kickstarter before, so I only know the most basic concept.

Edit:  Ah, I just noticed the fine print closer to the bottom that answers that question.

One thing i'm a bit dubious about is the digital copy.  I could see sumit possibly allowing them to live riff the film as a one time thing, but I can't see them giving the OK for a digital copy release.

Long Tall Jodie

I'm in for $30 (Movie VOD + Shorts).

And to the above poster, if it clears it's goal (and it will, quite handily) there's no cap.  Money will just keep racking up.  Presumably, if it gets truly ridiculous, they'll announce some more solid stretch goals.

I got an email at 3pm ish.

Crazy.  They're gonna hit that goal in 90 minutes.

At this rate, they'll be able to afford Pattinson AND Moustache Dad by the end of March.

Funded.

(And I received an email of the project about 15 minutes after it started as well.)

I'm in for slightly more than I can afford.  What amazes me is how fast some of the four-digit packages have gone.

At this rate, they should be over-subscribed by the end of the day.  By week's end, they should be able to afford Kristen Stewart as a guest riffer.

God, I love watching the numbers go up so fast on the Kickstarter page.  Kinda restores my faith in humanity.

Robert Pattinson hates the series, he'd probably show up.

Another question.  Would this be a re-read of the regular rifftrax or wout it be a new (or partly new) riff?

I'd be surprised if they didn't at least chuck in a few newer jokes.... but like most of the live riffs, it would probably be very similar for most of it.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.
