Well, pretty sure $3.2 billion of that $4 billion Lucas got from Disney was for the rights to Itchy and Lumpy... so outlook not good on that front.

I honestly don't see this ever happening, no matter how much money is raised.

I'd recommend sticking with public domain titles for the LIVE shows.

This NEEDS to happen. Just to piss off all the idiot fans of this shit that will go in and be confused.

Mike, Kevin, and Bill are clearly just jealous of Stephanie Meyer's talent.

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

Keep in mind: They pulled it off for Birdemic. Granted, Birdemic isn't Twilight, but it had a theatrical run and official DVD/Blu-ray release going on at the time. They've managed this before. I'd imagine the ONLY difference is the price. If the kickstarter covers that price, then it should be a done deal.

Also, it says right on the Kickstarter page that if they can't pull it off, they'll go right on down the worst movie list and knock on every door until someone's willing to take their (at this rate) hundreds of thousands of dollars. If anything on that list gets riffed, I'll consider my contribution money well-spent (And, like others have said, there are entries on that list I'd RATHER see than Twilight).

KidFlash

I'd love to see them take another crack at Batman and Robin.

I think the only ones on that list I'd like to see a riffing for are CATWOMAN, the MARIO film, and maybe a trio riff of STAR WARS EPISODE 1. But I don't see Rifftrax being able to buy any of them for a live show, so might-as-well consider the regular riffing for a home DVD and save the live shows for public domain movies.

Not to mention that Jack & Jill and Son of the Mask are comedies, which Rifftrax doesn't do. I do agree, Super Mario Brothers is my favorite on the list.

I do like the idea of them riffing Catwoman, although I would prefer them to have a woman riffer with them when they do that.
Also, since Hale Berry did accept her Razzie Award in person for that movie, she has a good sense of humor about it. I'd like to see her do a cameo. Maybe help riff on a short before the movie. Not the feature itself, that would be awkward.

RVR II

Ok yeah I could support a download to burn option.. If it doesn't take months to be released :o

Pak-Man

According to the Kickstarter Page, the digital download would be available about 60 days after the show.

Even if they can't get anything on the worst movies list

QuoteAdmittedly we're entering unknown territory for us. So on the chance that we are not able to secure TWILIGHT or another title from our Worst Movies Ever list, we're determined to make it a great show anyway, putting the money into getting cool guests and great new production values.

Using the money instead for great guests would be worth it no matter what the movie is.

Starman!

I'm amazed at how quickly the money was raised! I still plan to donate though. I NEED to hear the guys riff A Voyage to the Moon (and Twilight, of course)!
