Maybe it'll be something like Big Trouble In Little China. But I only was guessing that because I originally read it as "will blow your mind" and I was thinking of movies that had someones head explode.

...if it IS The Room, wow, that'd be crazy.  Though I suspect the nudity and sex scenes will either be edited out or "off screen" as we change to Mike and the guys reacting to it on stage.

It would be awesome if they just moved the video of their heads (which are usually stacked to the right or left of the movie) over the naughty bits during those scenes.

Breaking Dawn 2?

They could do that. They could just have everyone in the theaters get out their phones, buy Twilight 5 on iTunes or Google Play, and then have everyone press play at the same time. R I F F C E P T I O N

An MST3K reunion wouldn't really interest me. IMO, RiffTrax has eclipsed MST3K in regards to movie riffing.

Sacrilegious as it may be, I agree.  With Mike, Kevin and Bill that's good enough of a MST3K reunion. Joel was great and all during his tenure on the show but I really think Mike brought a lot more to the table when he took over hosting the show (also keep in mind he was the show's head writer from Season 2 on.)  Trace I'm either way on, I think I prefer Bill's humor a bit more than Trace's but I'll admit to being a big fan of the SciFi years of MST3K.  Not to say I don't like Trace or TV's Frank both are great, funny, men (love Frank's Facebook postings) but Rifftrax has surpassed MST3K because it can push a lot more boundaries than it could on TV.

Rifftrax is enough of a "reunion" for me when it comes to MST3K. (Though I guess a four-riffer movie with Mike, Kevin, Bill and Joel would be fun.)  I expect the announcement Monday to be the movie they're going to do which is likely to be another 80s/90s era movie they've managed to license and distribute.  So what other horrible movie from that time period can we think of?  The Wizard? (There were a lot of references to it the Cool as Ice riff, including one calling it "worse than Cool as Ice.") Seeing that might me interesting, though as a kid-centric movie that's almost a comedy it might be outside of their talents.

Awww, who am I kidding. Nothing is outside the talents of these guys.

Of the other Best Brains, I most want to see Trace guest riff.

Oh man, The Wizard? I saw that in theatres too! Was PISSED that I didn't get a copy of that Nintendo Power magazine they were giving out with tickets. (About the only other thing I remember is that the theater had a copy of the 1990 Captain America poster hanging up, along with a trailer attached to the print - don't bother looking for it on YouTube, I've never been able to find it.)

Yep. I think he would be the most likely one to join in, since he and Kevin are neighbors. (Maybe not neighbors per se, but Kevin did mention in the Reddit AMA that Trace was the MST alumnus he saw most often.)

Nope. Let's just squash that one right out of the gate...don't want anyone to be disappointed if this was the weekend rumor to get legs.

*Zips lips again until the announcement*

So Thrash confirms that it's an MST3k reunion show! Gotcha!
