Yo

I live in KL, Malaysia and love both Rifftrax and MST3K. And yes, we learn English from an early age here!

Welcome to the boards, man.  I see you've already had some fun on the games board.  I'll also recommend the off-topic boards and TV boards.  Also, if you happen to get the Twilight Zone in Malaysia, you might want to vote for your favourite eps.  Click on the link below if you want to take part.

Welcome. Be sure to try some of the iRiff groups as well. Here is a list I did a while ago to show our favorites:

If I may ask, how were you exposed to MST3k/Rifftrax? I remember when the show was still on the air some Aussies who would have episodes mailed to them, but I don't remember hearing anything of that sort from Malaysia. Do you know an ex-pat, or was it just a more modern "saw it on YouTube and the like" type thing?

[Johnny Unusual]

Probably from the internet, like me way back in the mid-90's.

All praise to The Digital Archive Project.

Oh, I didn't see it at that point.  Internet was not good for videos in 96.  I simply heard of it by synopsis and reference to MSTings and was fortunate enough to buy a VHS at my local comic shop.  The Atomic Brain is an underrated classic in the MST3k canon.

Thank you all! Terima kasih!

I have many American and English friends. I was introduced to it many years ago by an English friend who had lived in the USA and had MST3K on video. Very funny!
