Plan 9 - the Pentagon Map

Loved the live movie...was the first time I ever got to see Plan 9 in its full horrific majesty. However, I spotted something that I was amazed did not draw comment from the riffers. In the Pentagon office scene, there's a map of the US on the wall. Problem is, there's a railroad logo in the lower left corner...apparently Ed was too cheap to get an official-looking military-style map and instead lifted one from the nearest train station. They obviously realized their error part-way thru the scene, since the logo suddenly is partly covered by tape or something, but it must not have all been filmed in order since the tape is gone again at the end.

Every time I think this movie's claim to be the worst of all time is passe, a little thing like that throws it back into the mix.

Anyone who's watched the bulk of MST3K should know Plan 9 is far, far from the worst. For all of its faults at least Plan 9 was made with an iota worth of skill in knowing how to make movies.  Counter that with Manos where not a single thing in the entire production was done correctly.

I'm at home watching the Plan 9 live DVD and I just noticed a weird thing. When the pilot's wife is in her bedroom on the phone, there's a photo above her that changes partway through the scene. Anyone else notice that? Weird...

Edit: Just saw someone post this exact same thing a few posts down on the thread. Nevermind :-)
