I loved Ray Rice before, but after the  4th and 29 he converted today, I think he's my hero. Holy shit, what a play. Absolutely saved the game:

Pretty mediocre performance by the team, but we managed to pull a win out of our asses somehow. And Flacco played a pretty good game, which is rare for him on the road.

9-2 and on our way back home to sweep the hobbled Squeelers (who amazingly lost to the Brownies today). Pretty damn happy. If we beat Pittsburgh again, we should have the division wrapped up, barring a total collapse. Just need Houston to start losing to get a shot at the 1 seed.

Bob

There was that play and the Rams CB intercepting two passes and running them both back for TDs.

Weird things happen.

goflyblind

ugh. i dislike both teams equally, but the argos are leading the stamps at the half. when they win, this will make torontonians more unbearable than usual. :-\

QuoteIndianapolis Colts cheerleaders shave heads to support coach battling leukemia

Published November 26, 2012

First, players on the Indianapolis Colts shaved their heads to show support for Coach Chuck Pagano, who is battling leukemia. Then, fans followed. Now, add cheerleaders to the mix.

The mascot of the NFL team, Blue, pulled cheerleaders Megan M. and Crystal Ann aside after the third quarter of Sunday's 20-13 victory over the Buffalo Bills to get their heads shaved in front of more than 60,000 fans in Lucas Oil Stadium and on national television.

"It was really overwhelming. People were cheering so loud and I could just feel the pride they had for our team that we were able to do something like this," Megan M. told Fox News. "I think everyone hopes they can make a difference in their life and hopefully that's what we did yesterday."

Megan was chosen for the event after responding to a Twitter challenge from Blue on Nov. 11, in which he asked if one cheerleader could get her head shaved if he could raise $10,000 for leukemia research.

With the help of the CHUCKSTRONG fund that is featured on the team's website, Blue raised more than $22,000 for the cause.

All of the proceeds will go to benefit leukemia research at the IU Health Simon Cancer Center, according to the site.

Megan M's pony tail, which was also cut off during the game, will be donated to Locks of Love, a non-profit that provides hair pieces for children under the age of 21 in the US and Canada suffering from hair loss related to their medical condition.

Fellow cheerleader Crystal Ann joined Megan M. to get her head shaved. Both held hands during the event.

Megan M. has received thanks from people on social media, but she says the real encouragement should go to those who are battling cancer.

"I just shaved my head," she said. "These people are going through the battle for their life and they're really the ones who deserve all the praise."

Pagano has lost his hair since being diagnosed with leukemia on Sept. 26 and has not been involved with the team's day-to-day operations since. His doctor said in early November that his cancer was in complete remission, according to the Associated Press.

QuoteKansas City Chiefs player kills self at Arrowhead Stadium, police say

Published December 01, 2012

DEVELOPING: Arrowhead Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Chiefs, was placed on lockdown early Saturday morning after police say a player shot and killed himself after shooting a female at another location.

Police confirm the player has died.

The female victim is reported to be in critical condition and has been identified as the player's girlfriend.

Police have not released the identity of the player, but have confirmed that he is a 25-year-old team member.

The team later released a statement on the shooting.

"We can confirm that there was an incident at Arrowhead earlier this morning. We are cooperating with authorities in their investigation," the statement said.

Local reports say police responded to a residence where a woman said her daughter was shot by her daughter's boyfriend, who is a Kansas City Chiefs player.

Police reportedly arrived at Arrowhead Stadium to find a male with a handgun to his head in the parking lot of the practice facility, speaking to two team officials, KCTV.com reports.

Police say they then heard a gunshot.

Police confirmed that the male who shot himself is the suspect in the shooting at the first location.

The Chiefs have a win-loss record of 1-10 this season, and are scheduled to host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Emotional win for the Chiefs over my Panthers,
Bills stomp the Jags :o

And Bob's Rams beat the 49ers in OT ??? WOW!

Bob

I am sure my sister and brother in law enjoyed going to the Rams game in my place!

I watched it on TV and my heart is still racing.   We won cause our rookie kicker made two FGs over 50 yards and our defense scored a TD and a Safety in a 16-13 win!
