THE OFFICIAL 2012 NFL SEASON thread

[RVR II]

Missed everything here in Mexico

But I am now watching the 49ers and Patriots game now

[RVR II]

Nice to see the Patriots lose at home (sorry k1)

[k1]

None taken.

Did I manage to sneak a win out this week Bob?

[Bob]

And yes, you did beat the best team by far in our league cuz she had a couple guys on shutout teams and had the unfortunate problem of having the Detroit QB on her team.

[RVR II]

Finally getting to watch some football here in Mexico while working here in our boutique..

Saints & Cowchips
and
Bengals & Steelers..

I see the Rams are stompin a mudhole in the Bucs on NFL.com
And my Panthers are up over the Raiders but my Bills are losing to the Fins

[JimJ]

Ravens FINALLY locked down the division with the brutalization of the Giants.  I was really not looking forward to the Cincy game on the road having the division on the line, so I'm glad we took care of our business this week.  Plus, no playoffs for Pittsburgh!

[RVR II]

Looks my 2 teams may be make some changes soon..

Buffalo Bills

Chan Gailey has shown little progress in three years under GM Buddy Nix. The team changes its defensive plans every year, and Gailey's offense isn't as tough to prepare for as it used to be. Owner Ralph Wilson might not want to swallow the remaining money on Gailey's contract.

Chances of a change: 50-50. Nothing would surprise us here. Nix might want to avoid firing his first coaching hire, but most teams would make a change in this situation.

Carolina Panthers

Ron Rivera has struggled to win close games during his tenure and isn't a natural in game management. A strong closing stretch could save his job, but the Panthers will hire a new GM after the season.

Chances of a change: Strong. A new GM almost always means a new head coach.

[Bob]

You should follow the NHL....oh wait.....

[RVR II]

Final week of the regular season and I get either the Colts vs Texicans or Bears vs Lions..

Guess I'll keep track of the rest of the games on NFL.com.

[RVR II]

So Both my Bills and Panthers decide to show up and win their last games of the season.. yay

Yeah, those preseason faves Saints and Jets sure were something this year.....

[MartyS (Gromit)]

And let the firings begin!!

All the coaches for the Eagles need to go, along with Vick.  And a bunch of the slackers on the defense that they wasted lots of money on.

If Vick goes I can start rooting for them again....

[Bob]

My dog wants to gather her fellow dobermans and pay Vick a "visit"

[RVR II]

YES!! Cowchips Go Down!!

[Bob]

I was torn on which team I wanted to lose more......the Redskins owned by the short little jerk or the Cowboys owned by the short little jerk.

At least Jerry can go get his annual face lift tomorrow and look more like a skeleton face.
