I did learn recently that roughly half of people wipe their asses while standing up.

Was that worldwide?  I could believe that if they included places that didn't have western toilets, but if it's just in America that seems off.,

Statistics are hard to find for it, but from what I remember, yeah, about half of Americans make little shit-sandwiches with their buttcheeks, and then try to scrape it out while standing up. It boggles the mind.

I don't stand fully, I squat. That way, I keep my legs/ass cheeks spread to avoid nastiness. Wiping while seated seems very risky to me.

NOTE: I hesitated to out myself as a stand up wiper, because this forum tends to be very divisive over stupid things.
