A bit of warning

Ok, so I'm an old fuddy-duddy, but I'm still surprised no one else has said anything but:

Breasts.  80's breasts.

Please, PLEASE give some kind of rating warning in the download section, or better yet before you pre-pay.  This would have never happened with MST3K, but I showed this without watching it to a bunch of teenagers.  I have every single MST3K and every VoD rifftrax, and although RiffTrax has been a lot raunchier than the tv show I flat out didn't expect a couple of scenes with boobs waving around for all to see.  Honestly, I don't want to be the dude offended with every little thing, but this was a huge embarrassment since for the most part nothing has ever been over PG-13.

I'm not asking for congressional oversight and new laws and calling down hellfire and brimstone, just please guys, give us a bit of warning next time.

So, no warning needed for people getting stabbed, shot, blown up, beat up, choked, and I'm probably forgetting some of the carnage, but a few seconds of boobs needs a warning?

I agree, this is something that isn't really expected in the kind of movies Rifftrax does. Heck, we have EXPLICIT CONTENT labels on iRiffs.

No, I don't think you are being a prude, Parker_Hylton. Wether it is a condition of buying a product or not, knowing what you are getting is important.

In my case, I know I am getting 80s BOOBS! Yeah, baby!

There is a warning on the product page already...however, we can't make you read it. :-/

I haven't downloaded the riff yet, but I did notice the nudity disclaimer. It could be modified a little though. As it is the top of the page has a tag saying "read below" with a link taking you to the bottom of the description and the specific warning.  If that were expanded to say "explicit content, read below" with the bottom still showing the specifics, it might catch more of the people who are missing it now.

Alright, well I didn't see any warning, I actually watched the clip from the main page and then when it refreshed added it to cart...didnt see anything along with way.  Anyway, I guess Ill just watch them all the way through before I show them to family anymore.

As I stated, I didn't go to the product page, and there's never been a need to be aware of anything in Rifftrax.  Next time I'll make sure and read the EULA for Windows, Rifftrax, the rifftrax site, the product page, all comments on the imdb page, every comment in the forum, and War and Peace before I watch the flick, I'm sure that's easier and more fun than watching a riff all the way through

We didn't have the warning up from the beginning, but we meant to. Sorry that it got by us. It is not very long or very explicit, but it is definitely a bit of an outlier for us from a movie content standpoint.

While there's nothing wrong with the practical concept of 'content foreknowledge', I'm confused about the fact that the sight of a few flashes of mammary glands--the first thing that I'd assume non-formula-bottle fed babies SEE and FEEL and SUCK ON WHEN THEY FIRST BECOME AWARE, SENTIENT LARVAL HUMANS--is the first thing anyone should be concerned about a teenager seeing. 



While seeing a man get strapped to a car seat, having the car placed into a car-crusher at an auto dump, and watching the pressure slowly flatten the car to sheet metal and whatever would be left of the hapless man inside, thankfully hidden from view...apparently did not worry this parent enough to mention.
