I am still distracted by the Lord of the rings chanting there. Basically the teaser tells me absolutely nothing important about the film. It could be like the 1978 film, it could be darker, hell it could be a take off of that shitty Smallville show for all I know. Even the kid in me is not impressed, so to speak. All I know is that They need Superman to occupy more space on the screen, so that he looks larger than life to the audience. It's sort of a subliminal thing.

Yeah, the fall of Gandalf score felt really out of place.  Did I see Clark Kent trying out for the Deadliest Catch show in that trailer?

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

One wonders why he would even want to. He's freaking Superman. He can practically part the sea as easily as I part my hair.

Superman Returns for me was "Deminishing Returns".

For other people, it was diminishing returns.

BOOM.

Oops.  Where was your damn spell check then, iPhone?

;D I thought the same thing when I watched it.

Tripe

Yeah the music is, an odd choice, especailly given the visuals and the existance of a more genre specidfic tune being out there:

I could try to put the visual with this tune, maybe.

I think it should have been something a little more uplifting, given Jor El's speech seemed hopefull, and seeing Superman rocketting into the sky.  I can't help thinking of the parallels.

My expectations are quite low and I would not be surprised if that trailer ends up being nothing like the actual feel of teh movie.

I still don't get the marketing of this film. I mean, I understand that the brooding Batman movies were so big and all, but the primary problem people had with Superman Returns was that it was boring. It seems like they should be going with a "this one will be fun, we promise" approach. And given that it's Zack Snyder, I have no doubt that it will be. So there should be plenty of footage to show that.

This feels like one of those trailers where they're trying to raise goosebumps and bring the whole "OMG this is gonna be epic" vibe. Although, they should've done that with the teaser, but that seemed kinda thrown together. Perhaps the fun trailer is still on the way.

He just THINKS his hair is super-strong. It's a little joke Ma Kent used to play on him. :^)

FUN FACT: I tried to accompany this with a panel from The Tick's "Tales too terrible to tell" special where he says, "Facial Hair! I'd be powerless to stop it-If it ever occured.." but Yahoo told me that an image search for "Facial Hair The Tick" would contain adult-only results. I dare not find out why. Especially at work. :^)
