Janelle and I will definitely be going... Just haven't gotten our tickets yet.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

Got a small group going. Introduced a bunch last year for "Jack the Giant Killer". I'm their new best friend now.

I'm torn on whether or not I should get my tickets right away. Is the demand typically that strong in Western New York?

I'll be seeing it in Syracuse: if Buffalo/Rochester are the same as Syracuse has been last couple of years, you should be fine without purchasing beforehand.
I'll see you there! As in I'm sure you will cross my line of sight at some point but won't know it's actually you.

Unless you go to Shoppingtown. But no one goes there unless they're going to Cloud City.

KidFlash

Well, Fandango sez there's still tickets in Rochester.

Bought my tickets the day it came out. I'm glad about this...much as I loved Joel (and much as I might be called a heretic for this) I always found the riffing in the Mike era to be sharper...less silly, more funny. I've always loved the MST treatment of Manos, particularly of Torgo and his pervy ways, but I think Mike, Bill and Kevin will probably find a way to top it.

Darth Geek

I am really hoping Mike is in character as Torgo at some point.

We'll get to see the infamous "slapping" scene riffed finally, I'm guessing. MST cut a few short bits.

Is this also coming out on dvd or vod ? Any idea when?

Quite a few months after it happens (if it happens). They have agreements with Fathom where it can't be released for a period of time.

I just hope with this one they do a studio version.

Agreed. Haven't the live shows shown up on disc roughly a year later, give or take a few weeks?

I'd bet that this will most definitely get a release. I just hope the show's good.

If I read the linked article on Satelite News correctly it sounds like the live show will be using a different cut of the film than the one the guy with the Kickstarter campaign has.

I'm hoping it's the reworked version that Rupert (the guy making the sequel) has been putting together!
