I guess that makes sense within the context of the thing I just saw.  Plain English would've been nicer, though.

But then they couldn't be pretentious.

Yesterday someone I work with told me she doesn't know how I hang in there with my boss but that she's glad I do because the department needs me. That felt really good to hear.

I do like that coat, minus the horrible penmanship.

Actually, I was alluding to this

Asbestos Bill

Penmanship is pointless.

And I knew it was an album; I was thinking Pulp, though.

Say, Brits. Got some money to throw around? Why not hire a public speaker? Like, say, this guy:

Bruce Dickinson is the lead singer of Iron Maiden, a commercial pilot, business angel, entrepreneur, creative business thinker and international fencer. Bruce was a pilot and marketing director for Astraeus Airlines which recently went into administration and is now in the process of leading them out of liquidation. In addition Bruce has government funding to create an aircraft maintenance company creating 1500 jobs in Wales.

Bruce is involved in an air ship venture to manufacture lighter than air drones with a contract to supply the US Army. He is also setting up a separate Training Company (Real World Aviation) to train future Pilots. Bruce left Iron Maiden in 1993 in order to pursue a solo career, his passion for fencing and an interest in becoming a pilot. Bruce re-joined the band in 1999 and has gone on to release four albums; despite this he hasn't stopped flying Boeing 757s.

Bruce is very keen to speak on his projects tying it in with business start-up, entrepreneurship and business creativity. In addition he is willing to talk about the parallels between his music and business careers. He is also able to deliver team building experiences focused around his flight simulator.

Even if he just showed up to talk about the difficulties of starting up a fencing supply company, it'd still be a memorable speech.

Oh yeah he's not a bad fencer either, or at least he didn't used to be too shabby. I'd probably be more interested in hearing him talk about that than his musical career but different strokes...

I think as an attempt of humor my friend from high school posted a pictures of his balls meaning to send it to another friend from high school. Unfortunately for him he posted it where everyone could see them. I spit my beer out all over my desk when a huge picture of balls popped up on my desktop.

How is it that not a single Gorillaz video made the music videos list of crap?

Don't pretend that's the first time that's happened!

Tripe

And he "spits" "beer" all over his "desk" each and every time.

Aren't inverted commas "awesome"?

goflyblind

i wouldn't've though balls were that "exciting". ???

Apparently I can't be surprised to see a picture of balls on Facebook.

Because only 1 person voted for Clint Eastwood and only 2 nominated Feel Good Inc. Lonely Island songs got more votes than they did. Not saying that's a good thing, just stating the numbers.
