Okay so, search with image has failed me, you've probably seen this somewhere on the web a number of times:
Rib...tickling, but what's the origin of the image used? Is it an actual book (physically I mean, not the subject) if so what is it?

Pah the complete Sweet Valley High series would be longer if leather-bound in a single volume, I know, Ann still has all the sodding things in a box in one of our wardrobes.

Walking to the bank and the Wawa and there's loads of people waking around with numbers stuck to them.

I must have entered the twilight zone, or it's the night for the Media fun run.

Checking the internet........., it's the media 5 mile race, wow, they hit their limit of 1400 people this year, maybe it is the zone after all.

Now that my kids are adults I see my ex-mother-in-law in their looks sometimes and it grosses me out. I hated my ex-mother-in-law.

By "looks" do you mean commonly used expressions they have or just physical appearance?

wurwolf

Sometimes both. My oldest has the same shaped head as her grandmother and the same chin and eyes so she looks the most like her physically, but my youngest just looks like her sometimes and I can't quite put my finger on it. She's got a picture on Facebook that gives me the skeeves every time I look at it because she reminds me of that wretched woman.

You mother in law was at least a cutie at some point though then.

Speaking of the pics Anna posts on FB; she really should think about the modeling, they're all arty photo-shoot/avant garde advert type poses. She's never going to walk down a runway but print is where it's at. :)

wurwolf

No she wasn't.

Someone explain this sentence for me please:

a new dance work that asks what it is to live in contemporary society, where the old paradigm of "you can, because you must" has been inverted to "you must, because you can."

I may be tired or stupid, but I'm not sure I understand it at all.

A bint or bloke, or a few of the same, faffing about on the stage with some musical business going on.

The 21st Century, what's that all about then eh?

Freewill, is it really free, well if everyone's free to wear sunscreen but all there is to wear is sunscreen then the answer's probably no, but everyone is nicely tanned and smells of coconut.

Quotehas been inverted to "you must, because you can."
Now then sunshine you have the freedom to be what ever you want to be, so go do that, geezer.

In short, Modern Life Is Rubbish.

I guess that makes sense within the context of the thing I just saw.  Plain English would've been nicer, though.
